Kelly Osbourne has revealed in a new documentary the ‘most heartbreaking’ element of her dad Ozzy’s ill health in his final years.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Black Sabbath frontman Ozzy passed away in July at the age of 76, after suffering a heart attack<\/a> while at his family’s estate in England<\/a>.<\/p>\n

The Brummie was diagnosed with Parkinson’s disease in 2019, the same year the Prince of Darkness had a nasty fall, which dislodged metal rods placed in his spine following a quad bike crash in 2003.<\/p>\n

The music<\/a> legend underwent multiple surgeries on his back following the incident, and the aftermath of this is documented in Paramount+’s Ozzy: No Escape From Now<\/em>.<\/p>\n

Ozzy’s struggles following surgery, including the singer having to cancel tour dates, have been documented in the programme, which has commentary from Sharon, the couple’s children, Aimee, Kelly, and Jack, as well as Ozzy<\/a> himself.<\/p>\n

In Ozzy: No Escape From Now<\/em>, Kelly detailed the ‘most heartbreaking’ part of Ozzy’s ill health, and it’s to do with the impact constant worry was having on Sharon.<\/p>\n

“I think what is happening to my mom is the most heartbreaking part of this whole thing,” Kelly said in the documentary.<\/p>\n

“I think watching the man that she loves most in this world whither is really, really hard.”<\/p>\n

Meanwhile, Aimee added: “They were both used to go, go, go, and I think for that to be taken away at such a drastic level is heartbreaking and terrifying. My mother\u2019s role has been about maintaining all the moving parts of this; to have all those things break away has been extremely painful.\u201d<\/p>\n

It was, of course, Sharon who spent the most time with Ozzy, especially over those final few years. While she put on a brave face in front of her husband, there’s no doubt it’s been an extremely difficult few years for the former X Factor<\/em> judge.<\/p>\n

“Because this illness (Parkinson’s) is so unpredictable; one day he wakes up and he\u2019s on the case and he\u2019s focused. The next, it\u2019s all gone again. There\u2019s no rhythm to it,” Sharon explained in the documentary.<\/p>\n

“It\u2019s hard on everyone, it\u2019s hard on the family. You think everything is going to be great, and then it\u2019s not.”<\/p>\n

There are three ‘telltale’ signs of Parkinson’s<\/a>, which help medical professionals come to a diagnosis, the Parkinson’s Foundation states.<\/p>\n
