News of\u00a0Mark Sanchez getting stabbed in Indianapolis<\/a>\u00a0early Saturday morning broke earlier today, with the former\u00a0NFL<\/a>\u00a0quarterback one of two people who sustained severe knife wounds in a downtown incident.<\/p>\n

Police have since announced that Sanchez has been arrested.<\/p>\n

The 38-year-old, now a broadcaster for FOX Sports, was the subject of a statement released by the Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department on Saturday afternoon, noting that he was under arrest in a surprising turn of events.<\/p>\n

He remains at the hospital and has yet to be booked, likely given his condition.<\/p>\n
