Donald Trump has sparked concern after his latest stunt in the Oval Office that seemingly hints at him running for president again.<\/strong><\/p>\n

The 79-year-old has suggested that he would\u00a0consider running for a third term<\/a>\u00a0in office on a\u00a0number of occasions<\/a>, despite the fact that this would be unconstitutional.<\/p>\n

The 22nd Amendment prevents individuals from serving more than two terms as\u00a0president<\/a>, which\u00a0Trump<\/a>\u00a0clearly has with his victories in 2016 and 2024.<\/p>\n

Though in August,\u00a0he gave an update on his plans<\/a>\u00a0on another presidential bid.<\/p>\n

With that said, Trump recently shared an image to Truth Social, potentially hinting that he would attempt to run again.<\/p>\n

The picture showed the POTUS in the Oval Office with ‘Trump 2028’ hats on full display when he met with Democrat leaders in the hopes of avoiding a\u00a0government shutdown<\/a>, on Monday (September 29).<\/p>\n

The post came not long after it was confirmed the government would be shutting down, the first time since 2018-2019.<\/p>\n

Hakeem Jeffries, the minority leader of the\u00a0US<\/a>\u00a0House of Representatives, has commented on Trump\u2019s antics after he shared the image as well as an\u00a0AI<\/a>\u00a0video mocking Jeffries.<\/p>\n

Speaking on CNN, he\u00a0said<\/a>: \u201cHe is an unserious individual and the Republicans are unserious at this point.<\/p>\n

\u201cThey have no interest in having a good faith conversation and all of the behavior erratic, unhinged behavior that we have seen should suggest to the American people who actually is trying to drive us toward a government shutdown.\u201d<\/p>\n

On\u00a0social media<\/a>, many also condemned Trump for this as well as the potential suggestion in running for president again.<\/p>\n

One user on Twitter wrote: \u201cTrump spent yesterday\u2019s meeting with Democratic leadership taunting them with ‘Trump 2028’ hats. He\u2019s not serious about keeping the government open. He\u2019s openly mocking America\u2019s Constitution.\u201d<\/p>\n

Another added: \u201cIf Trump can flaunt his Trump 2028 hats on the Resolute desk, trample the Constitution & run for a 3rd term –\u00a0Barack Obama<\/a>\u00a0can run for a 3rd term.\u201d<\/p>\n

A third commented: \u201cThe hat serves as the warning for what\u2019s to come. Some folk keep ignoring that warning.\u201d<\/p>\n

Someone else was frustrated with the Democrats staying for a meeting, despite the ‘2028 Trump’ hats in view.<\/p>\n

They wrote: \u201cWhen you walk into a meeting with Trump that is supposed to be a bipartisan negotiation on a funding resolution and he has ‘Trump 2028’ merch strewn across the table, the correct response is TO WALK OUT OF THE F****** ROOM.\u201d<\/p>\n
