Taylor Swift got an unlikely mention during the latest episode of the Charlie Kirk Show on Monday.<\/p>\n

Vice president JD Vance took over the show after Kirk, 31, was fatally shot last Wednesday while speaking at Utah Valley University. The episode focused on some of the work of Kirk, who often appeared at university and college campuses to discuss politics.<\/p>\n
In the most recent episode, released September 15, the White House deputy chief of staff for communications and personnel Taylor Budowich discussed a young women\u2019s event in Dallas.<\/p>\n
He explained how Kirk would target an audience that \u201chadn\u2019t thought about or engaged with politics before,\u201d before later mentioning the Shake It Off pop singer.<\/p>\n

Speaking to Vance, Budowich explained, \u201cIt became personal for me when my sister, we\u2019re from California, was trying to find her way politically.<\/p>\n
\u201cShe was saying \u2018you know I wanna be involved\u2019, and we have the benefit of being able to go to any event, any rally, any intimate setting.\u201d<\/p>\n
He continued, \u201cI said you know there\u2019s the young women event he [Kirk] hosts in Dallas, let\u2019s go to Dallas.<\/p>\n

One of the reasons I think Charlie\u2019s events had been so successful and why this organisation [Turning Point] has been so successful, is he makes these events approachable for the person who hasn\u2019t done politics before, hasn\u2019t been engaged but is curious and thinks maybe something is going wrong with the country.<\/p>\n
\u201cMaybe there\u2019s a way to get involved that\u2019s not the big rallies, that\u2019s not standing in line for long periods of time and for my sister it was a conference room of girls listening to Taylor Swift music.\u201d<\/p>\n
