Donald Trump has left people shocked after explaining the big plans he has for the country that includes the deployment of the military. <\/strong><\/p>\n

Trump<\/a> has made it clear the military will be key to his upcoming plans for the nation.<\/p>\n

Giving a speech on Tuesday (September 30) to military leaders, Trump insisted that the US<\/a> was at war internally and that he would be the one to fix the problems across America.<\/p>\n

He said he was refocusing the military to help law enforcement domestically and went on to praise the National Guard troops in D.C<\/a>.<\/p>\n

This is in reference to the work they began doing in August this year. 1,700 National Guard soldiers were deployed across the country with the main objective of assisting ICE and the Department of Homeland Security.<\/p>\n

He also took issue with Democrat-led cities and indicated he would be making changes.<\/p>\n

He said: \u201cThey\u2019re very unsafe places, and we’re going to straighten them out one by one.<\/p>\n

“And this is going to be a major part for some of the people in this room. That’s a war, too. It’s a war from within. Controlling the physical territory of our border is essential to national security. We can’t let these people in.”<\/p>\n

Most concerningly, he argued that that country was \u2018under invasion from within\u2019 and these comments have not gone down well on social media<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Trump added: \u201cAfter spending trillions of dollars defending the borders of foreign countries, with your help, we\u2019re defending the borders of our country from now on.\u201d<\/p>\n

He also claims he told Secretary of War Pete Hegseth: “We should use some of these dangerous cities as training grounds for our military \u2014 National Guard, but our military, because we\u2019re going into Chicago very soon.<\/p>\n

“That’s a big city with an incompetent governor.”<\/p>\n

One Twitter<\/a> user argued that Trump was \u2018humiliating\u2019 the nation with his comments.<\/p>\n

They said: \u201cAre you guys watching this Trump speech to military leaders? It\u2019s a slurring, inane, low energy, rambling, humiliation for the United States.\u201d<\/p>\n

Another added: \u201cI can’t bear to watch, it’s so appalling just from the clips. Surely there will be backlash within the military? Surely????\u201d<\/p>\n

A third commented: \u201cHe truly is AMERICA’s SHAME…..The fact that people around the world are watching this is such a humiliating embarrassment.\u201d<\/p>\n

With another adding: \u201cLudicrously high bar but Trump\u2019s speech to all the US Generals today might be the most insane moment of either of his presidencies.”<\/p>\n

And a fifth simply writing: \u201cIt\u2019s embarrassing.\u201d<\/p>\n

During his speech, Trump also issued a veiled warning to Russia<\/a> and China<\/a> and insisted the US was more than two decades ahead of both nations in nuclear submarines.<\/a><\/p>\n

He said: \u201cWe were a little bit threatened by Russia recently, and I sent a submarine, nuclear submarine, the most lethal weapon ever made.<\/p>\n

\u201cNumber one, you can’t detect it. There’s no way. We’re 25 years ahead of Russia and China in submarines.<\/p>\n

\u201cFrankly, if it does get to use, we have more than anybody else. We have better, we have newer, but it’s something we don’t ever want to even have to think about.”<\/p>\n<\/div>\n
