Amid mounting tensions between Europe, NATO and Russia, the Kremlin has accused the pair of waging war. <\/strong><\/p>\n

Having recently made an alarming threat<\/a> against the allies should any of its jets be shot down by NATO, Russia<\/a> and the West<\/a> are reaching a boiling point.<\/p>\n

This comes weeks after Russia was accused of violating the airspace of NATO countries, specifically Estonia and Poland.<\/p>\n

Last week, three Russian MiG-31 fighter jets are said to have crossed into Estonia<\/a>‘s airspace for around 12 minutes, with Estonian Foreign Minister Margus Tsahkna calling it ‘unprecedentedly brazen’.<\/p>\n

He said: \u201cRussia has violated Estonian airspace four times already this year, which is unacceptable in itself, but today\u2019s violation, during which three fighter jets entered our airspace, is unprecedentedly brazen.<\/p>\n

\u201cRussia\u2019s ever-increasing testing of borders and aggressiveness must be responded to by rapidly strengthening political and economic pressure.\u201d<\/p>\n

Russia has since denied the violation, stating the jets were in Baltic waters and not Estonia\u2019s airspace.<\/p>\n

But problems have continued to occur.<\/p>\n

Days ago, Putin ally<\/a>, Vladimir Solovyov, suggested dropping two nuclear bombs on Oxford and Cambridge in the UK to send a message that the nation is not playing around when it comes to their willingness to win a nuclear war.<\/p>\n

He previously said ‘the use of nuclear weapons, in extreme cases, in the most dreadful case, is a terrible sin’, adding: “But not using them and condemning your people and the world to a major war is an even greater sin. That is an even more terrible sin.”<\/p>\n

If you thought that was the last we\u2019ve heard from Russia, think again, as they\u2019ve now alleged Europe and NATO have \u2018declared war\u2019.<\/p>\n

One of Moscow\u2019s most powerful politicians – Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov- made the comment at a G20 meeting yesterday (September 25), adding that if the UN charter is not put into action, then to expect retaliatory \u2018regional conflicts\u2019 and \u2018global instability\u2019.<\/p>\n

He said: \u201c[They] have already declared a real war on my country.\u201d<\/p>\n

The charter in question is one that says the UN members must work to end \u2018the scourge of war\u2019.<\/p>\n

He said: \u201cA clear example is the crisis in Ukraine, provoked by the collective West, through whose hands Nato and the EU want to declare, have already declared, a real war on my country and are directly participating in it.\u201d<\/p>\n

The news comes after President Donald Trump<\/a> appeared to make a U-turn on his stance, after meeting with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy<\/a>, and visiting the UN General Assembly in New York on September 23.<\/p>\n

He said: \u201cPutin and Russia are in BIG Economic trouble, and this is the time for Ukraine to act.”<\/p>\n

Trump wrote of the country in his defence of Ukraine: “With time, patience, and the financial support of Europe and, in particular, NATO, the original Borders from where this war started, is very much an option.<\/p>\n

“Why not? Russia has been fighting aimlessly for three and a half years, a War that should have taken a Real Military Power less than a week to win. This does not distinguish Russia. In fact, it is very much making them look like a paper tiger.”<\/p>\n<\/div>\n
