Donald Trump broke a major rule during his speech to the United Nations General Assembly yesterday (Tuesday 23 September).<\/p>\n
The\u00a0United States<\/a>\u00a0President, 79, was\u00a0visiting the UN headquarters<\/a>\u00a0for the first time since his second term began in January, and was accompanied by First Lady,\u00a0Melania<\/a>, 55.<\/p>\n Despite getting off to a bit of a rocky start that involved a broken teleprompter and escalator,\u00a0he didn’t hold back when<\/a>\u00a0delivering remarks to the room.<\/p>\n He even laid into his hosts, accusing the UN of not helping him when he ‘personally end seven wars’, and questioned the organisation’s purpose.<\/p>\n Turning his attention to other nation’s immigration policies,\u00a0Trump<\/a>\u00a0told the room: “When your prisons are filled with so-called asylum seekers who repay kindness with\u00a0crime<\/a>, it’s time to end the failed experiment of open borders.<\/p>\n “You have to end it now – I can tell you. I\u2019m really good at this stuff. Your countries are going to hell.\u201d<\/p>\n
