Three people have been shot at a US Immigration and Customs Enforcement (Ice) detention facility in Dallas, Texas.<\/strong><\/p>\n

It has been reported that the gunman, who has not yet been named, is dead from a self-inflicted gunshot wound.<\/p>\n

It has also been reported that one victim has died, says<\/a> NBC News. No ICE agents have been shot or injured.<\/p>\n

Department of Homeland Security Secretary Kristi Noem has spoken out on the ordeal and said that a motive for the attack is yet to be determined.<\/p>\n

She tweeted: “There was a shooting this morning at the Dallas @ICEgov Field Office. Details are still emerging but we can confirm there were multiple injuries and fatalities.<\/p>\n

“The shooter is deceased by a self-inflicted gun shot wound. While we don\u2019t know motive yet, we know that our ICE law enforcement is facing unprecedented violence against them. It must stop.”<\/p>\n

Noem added: “Please pray for the victims and their families.”<\/p>\n

JD Vance has also reacted to the news and said that the ‘obsessive attack on law enforcement’, ICE in particular, ‘must stop’.<\/p>\n

“I’m praying for everyone hurt in this attack and for their families,” the vice president went on.<\/p>\n
