Michael Jordan has named who he believes in the great point guard in NBA history.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Jordan, 61, played 15 seasons in the\u00a0NBA\u00a0between 1984 and 2003, winning six championships with the\u00a0Chicago Bulls.<\/p>\n

Having retired over 20 years ago, many greats have since tried to topple Jordan\u2019s accomplishments.<\/p>\n

Steph Curry is often a name that crops up in conversation having himself scooped to win four NBA titles.<\/p>\n

But Jordan has caused further controversy insisted the Golden State Warriors star is not the best to ever do it.<\/p>\n

\u201cAlthough greatest of anything is always a debate, I beg to differ on greatest point guard of all-time,\u201d began Jordan when speaking to Stephen A. Smith.<\/p>\n

\u201cMagic Johnson is easily the best point guard of all time. Steph Curry is very close, but not in front of Magic.\u201d<\/p>\n

Magic spent his entire professional NBA career with the Los Angeles Lakers.<\/p>\n

He won five titles and was named NBA Most Valuable Player on three occasions in 1987, 1989, 1990.<\/p>\n

Curry, who has also drawn plaudits for remaining with one team through his time at the top, still believes he belongs at the top.<\/p>\n

\u201cAre you the best point guard ever?\u201d Gilbert Arenas asked Curry back in\u00a02023.<\/p>\n

\u201cYes,\u201d responded Curry despite hesitating in his response.<\/p>\n

\u201cIt\u2019s me and Magic, is that the conversation?\u201d Curry said.<\/p>\n

\u201cObviously I have to answer [myself]<\/p>\n

\u201cBut to your point, Magic\u2019s resume is ridiculous.<\/p>\n

\u201cSo the fact that we\u2019re even having that conversation is a place that I never thought I\u2019d be in.\u201d<\/p>\n

Curry\u2019s influence on the game has led to frequent comparisons to Jordan .<\/p>\n

For basketball fans everywhere, watching them play together would be the stuff of dreams.<\/p>\n
