A former Harry Potter<\/em> star has revealed she was ‘barred’ from a fan event over her OnlyFans account. <\/strong><\/p>\n

Jessie Cave is known for playing the role of Lavender Brown in the Harry Potter<\/em><\/a> franchise.<\/p>\n

Back in March, she revealed she would be joining the subscription-only adult content<\/a> site – although not everything was quite as it sounded…<\/p>\n

Instead of explicit content, she would be appealing to an even more niche community; people with hair fetishes.<\/p>\n

Her content, she explained, includes hair brushing, hair ASMR and hair styling – more sensual than the typical sexual content you’d expect to find on the site.<\/p>\n

The 38-year-old posts daily videos of her long locks, while also taking custom requests, according to her OnlyFans<\/a> page.<\/p>\n

At the time, Cave explained on her Substack that she wanted to give the venture a go for one year – and detailed exactly why she was doing it.<\/p>\n

In part, the mom-of-four wrote: “My aim? To get the house safe, cover the arsenic\/lead wallpaper, build a new roof etc.<\/p>\n

“My aim? To get out of debt. My aim? To empower myself? To prove to those in the past who have misjudged me that I\u2019m not so sweet? To put time into something I never invested in before: self-love.”<\/p>\n

Although the new gig has come with some unexpected repercussions – including unsolicited d**k pics<\/a> and vile messages.<\/p>\n

Most recently, however, Cave was surprised to learn she’d been ‘barred’ from a Harry Potter <\/em>convention over her account.<\/p>\n

Once again taking to her Substack, she wrote: “I found out that I didn\u2019t get booked for a Harry Potter<\/em> convention recently, as I\u2019m now doing OnlyFans.<\/p>\n

“They explained it was because it\u2019s a \u2018family show and OnlyFans is affiliated with porn.\u2019 This was baffling to me as some actors who do conventions (most actors, actually) have done TV and films<\/a> in which they\u2019ve done sex scenes and nudity. I\u2019m just playing with my hair!”<\/p>\n

Cave played Lavender Brown in the three Harry Potter movies (Warner Bros.)<\/cite><\/div>\n

She went on to reflect on her affiliation to the popular franchise, writing: “I am not upset about the prospect of no more Harry Potter <\/em>conventions.<\/p>\n

“There\u2019s going to be a new cast now and it\u2019s a different time. Plus, I have done conventions for over 15 years and have enough photos and wizard memorabilia.”<\/p>\n

In April 2023, Warner Bros confirmed a new Harry Potter <\/em>series had been greenlit in for HBO.<\/p>\n

Filming began in the UK this July, with Dominic McLaughlin as Harry Potter<\/a>, Arabella Stanton as Hermione Granger and Alastair Stout as Ron Weasley.<\/p>\n

The supporting cast includes John Lithgow as Albus Dumbledore, Paapa Essiedu as Severus Snape, Nick Frost as Rubeus Hagrid and Janet McTeer as Minerva McGonagall.<\/p>\n

The series is slated for release in 2027, no doubt hoping to encourage a whole new generation of Harry Potter <\/em>fans.<\/p>\n

Cave made her first appearance as Brown in 2009\u2019s Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince <\/em>and reprised the role for both Deathly Hallows <\/em>films in 2010 and 2011. Her other credits include Black Mirror’s <\/em>‘Hang the DJ’ episode and British sitcom Buffering<\/em>.<\/p>\n

Taking to Instagram earlier in September, she marked her six-month OF anniversary, describing it as ‘the most empowering thing I\u2019ve done in my life’.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n
