Slain conservative activist Charlie Kirk had a falling-out with podcaster Candace Owens\u00a0after her views became too extreme<\/a>, according to an advisory board member of Kirk\u2019s political activist group.<\/p>\n

Eric Bolling, the former Fox News host and media personality,\u00a0told Patrick Bet-David\u2019s \u201cPBD Podcast\u201d<\/a>\u00a0this week that while Kirk and Owens were \u201ctight\u201d more than a decade ago through their work at Turning Point USA, they \u201chad a break-up\u201d because her\u00a0\u201ctheories got just a little bit too down the rabbit holes.\u201d<\/a><\/p>\n

\u201cIt was too extreme for [TPUSA\u2019s] taste,\u201d Bolling said, adding: \u201cCharlie, to his credit, kept a cordial friendship with her for years, but it hasn\u2019t been a communication pipeline between the two for many years.\u201d<\/p>\n

Bolling, who is an advisory board member for TPUSA in addition to his duties as a host on cable news channel Newsmax, also said Owens does not have a relationship with Kirk\u2019s widow, Erika Kirk.<\/p>\n

Before Owens became a household name among right-leaning internet users, she served as TPUSA\u2019s communications director from 2017 until 2019.<\/p>\n

While she did not hold a formal position with TPUSA after her departure from the organization, she continued to appear at its events as a guest speaker as recently as 2024. Owens was also featured on TPUSA\u2019s web site.<\/p>\n

On the \u201cPBD Podcast,\u201d Bolling said he last saw Owens in person around 2015 or 2016.<\/p>\n

When asked when was the last time Owens appeared at a TPUSA event, Bolling said: \u201cMany years.\u201d The Post has sought comment from Bolling.<\/p>\n

Owens\u00a0responded to The Post\u2019s inquiry<\/a>\u00a0by alleging on X that The Post was \u201can outfit of the Mossad\u201d and that billionaire hedge fund mogul Bill Ackman was using The Post as \u201cattack dogs\u201d to smear her.<\/p>\n

She declined to address Bolling\u2019s comments.<\/p>\n

Andrew Kolvet, a spokesperson for TPUSA, told The Post: \u201cCharlie and Candace remained friends.\u201d<\/p>\n

Bolling said on the podcast this week that he sided with Ackman after he was accused by Owens of staging a hostile \u201cintervention\u201d in which he and other pro-Israel influencers are alleged to have \u201chammered\u201d the slain activist over his views on Israel.<\/p>\n

According to Owens,\u00a0Ackman was acting in concert with the Israeli government<\/a>\u00a0to \u201cblackmail\u201d Kirk and threaten him after he had expressed frustration over being labeled an antisemite for allowing libertarian standup comedian Dave Smith, a frequent critic of Israel, to appear at a TPUSA event.<\/p>\n

Owens cited a report in Max Blumenthal\u2019s news site Grayzone,\u00a0which reported that Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu<\/a>\u00a0\u201chad offered a to organize a massive infusion of pro-Israel money into TPUSA, and that Kirk refused.\u201d<\/p>\n

Netanyahu\u00a0himself posted a video on Thursday denouncing<\/a>\u00a0insinuations that Israel played a role in Kirk\u2019s assassination.<\/p>\n

Ackman, who has categorically denied claims there was an intervention or blackmail,\u00a0posted screenshots on Wednesday of phone texts<\/a> he exchanged with Kirk in an effort to rebut Owens\u2019 claims.<\/p>\n

Bolling said he found nothing in Owens\u2019 narrative that sounded like a threat.<\/p>\n

\u201cI don\u2019t hear anything that\u2019s a threat,\u201d he told \u201cPBD Podcast,\u201d arguing her description didn\u2019t square with what he knew of Ackman or Kirk.<\/p>\n
