The trans roommate of\u00a0Turning Point USA Founder\u00a0Charlie Kirk\u2019s\u00a0alleged assassin<\/a>\u00a0\u201chates conservatives and Christians,\u201d one of his relatives told Fox News Digital in an interview.<\/p>\n

The 22-year-old, who has not been charged and whose name has not yet been released by authorities, was in a romantic relationship with\u00a0suspect\u00a0Tyler Robinson<\/a>, also 22, according to the relative.<\/p>\n

She said he is in the process of transitioning from male to female.<\/p>\n

The woman, who asked to remain anonymous, told Fox News Digital her relative began to act differently when he turned 18 and said that he developed a hatred of Christians and conservatives.<\/p>\n

\u201cHe hates conservatives and Christians,\u201d the relative said. \u201cHe hated us. He was not raised that way, but he, over the years, has become really detached [and] been radicalized.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cHe has obviously gotten progressively worse the last year or two,\u201d the relative said, adding that he\u2019s \u201calways very angry.\u201d<\/p>\n

The relative suspects Robinson\u2019s politics were influenced by his partner in the year they have been dating.<\/p>\n

\u201cI think Tyler got a whole lot worse in the year they have been dating. They are big gamers, and obviously they have that group that influences them as well as others. But my gut tells me [the roommate] did more of the influencing,\u201d the relative said.<\/p>\n

\u201cEverybody in my family wants justice to be served and wants no part in this and wants whoever is involved in whatever way to have to pay for that,\u201d the relative added.<\/p>\n

Fox News Digital was told by an\u00a0FBI official\u00a0that\u00a0Robinson\u2019s roommate<\/a>\u00a0has been \u201cextremely cooperative\u201d and claimed he \u201chad no idea\u201d about Robinson\u2019s alleged plans to assassinate Kirk.<\/p>\n

Robinson and his roommate shared an apartment in St. George, Utah, where both of their families reside.<\/p>\n

It was Robinson\u2019s father who turned him into authorities after he recognized his son in surveillance videos that the FBI released, a law enforcement source earlier told Fox News Digital.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
