The\u00a0Cincinnati Bengals<\/a>\u00a0got, practically, the worst-case injury update on superstar quarterback\u00a0Joe Burrow<\/a>\u00a0after Sunday\u2019s Week 2 win over the Jacksonville Jaguars.<\/p>\n Joe Burrow was injured<\/a>\u00a0on a sack during the second quarter of the Bengals\u2019 season opener and did not return. Backup Jake Browning relieved Burrow and finished with three total touchdowns, including the game-winning QB sneak TD in the waning seconds, to help Cincy escape with a 31-27 win.<\/p>\n It was initially reported that\u00a0Burrow would miss multiple weeks<\/a>\u00a0with turf toe and torn ligaments. Unfortunately, the injury is even worse than feared.<\/p>\n Per\u00a0NFL<\/a>\u00a0Network\u2019s\u00a0Ian Rapoport<\/a>\u00a0and Tom Pelissero, the Bengals fear that Joe Burrow has a Grade 3 turf toe injury. If that\u2019s the case, he would need surgery and miss at least three months, Rapoport added.<\/p>\n
