Travis Kelce<\/strong><\/a> wore his emotions on his sleeve as the Kansas City Chiefs suffered a second straight defeat to open the 2025 NFL season.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Kelce, 35, was visibly upset during the Chiefs\u2019 20-17 loss to the Philadelphia Eagles<\/a> at Kansas City\u2019s Arrowhead Stadium on Sunday, September 14.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

During the second quarter, an irate Kelce could be seen saying<\/a> \u201cI\u2019m sick of this s***\u201d to a group of teammates as the Fox broadcast went to break.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Kelce also \u201claunched his helmet on the sideline,\u201d according to ESPN\u2019s Nate Taylor<\/strong><\/a>.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

The Chiefs were unable to avenge February\u2019s 40-22 loss to the Eagles in February\u2019s Super Bowl LIX.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

After a season-opening loss to the Los Angeles Chargers in Brazil on September 5, Kansas City has started the season 0-2 for the first time since 2014, Kelce\u2019s first full season in the league.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Dating back to the Super Bowl, it also marks the first time Chiefs quarterback, Patrick Mahomes<\/strong>, has lost three consecutive games in his NFL career.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Kelce finished Sunday\u2019s game with four receptions for 61 yards. However, a costly miscue by Kelce in the fourth quarter of the game was a turning point.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

With the Chiefs driving and trailing 13-10, Kelce bobbled a pass from Mahomes, 29, at the goal line, resulting in an interception by Eagles safety Andrew Mukuba<\/strong>.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Mukuba, 22, returned the interception for 41 yards, helping to sure up a one-yard rushing touchdown by Eagles quarterback, Jalen Hurts<\/strong>, that put the Eagles ahead 20-10.<\/span><\/p>\n

The Chiefs will seek their first win of the season when they travel to play the New York Giants on Sunday, September 21, on Sunday Night Football<\/i>.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Before the game, Kelce sat down with Fox Sports\u2019 Erin Andrews<\/strong> for a sit-down interview, where he discussed his recent engagement to his fianc\u00e9e, Taylor Swift<\/strong><\/a>.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

\u201cI\u2019m an emotional guy, so there were a few tears here and there,\u201d Kelce told Andrews, 47. \u201cBut it\u2019s been an exciting, exciting ride up to this day, I can\u2019t wait to spend the rest of my life with her.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n

He added, \u201cShe has brought excitement and a joy for life that made me a better man, made me a better person, and made me just that much more comfortable than who I am.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n

Kelce and Swift, 35, announced their engagement on August 26 after two years of dating.<\/span><\/p>\n

\u201cYour English teacher and your gym teacher are getting married,\u201d Swift captioned an Instagram post alongside photos from the proposal.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

While Swift was not pictured or seen on camera at the Chiefs\u2019 game on Sunday, there is speculation that she entered Arrowhead Stadium while being shielded by a moving wall<\/a>.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n
