WASHINGTON \u2014 Tyler Robinson, the alleged murderer of conservative activist Charlie Kirk, was \u201cdeeply indoctrinated with leftist ideology,\u201d a preliminary investigation revealed according to Utah Gov. Spencer Cox.<\/p>\n

Cox noted that Robinson\u2019s political leanings had since become \u201cvery clear to us and to the investigators\u201d in\u00a0an interview with The Wall Street Journal<\/a>\u00a0\u2014 after Kirk was shot and killed Wednesday at Utah Valley University.<\/p>\n

At a recent family dinner, Robinson had mused over the conservative activist\u2019s first stop of his American Comeback tour at the Orem campus, which was about a three hour drive from the alleged sniper\u2019s home.<\/p>\n

\u201cThey talked about why they didn\u2019t like him and the viewpoints that he had,\u201d Cox added during a press conference Friday.<\/p>\n

Evidence found at the scene of the fatal shooting provided a glimpse at a gunman with connections to internet culture, including bullet casings that stated, \u201cif you read this, you are gay lmao\u201d and the Italian phrase, \u201cBella Ciao\u201d with roots in the anti-fascist movement during World War II that has since become popular on TikTok. \u2018Hey fascist! Catch!\u2019 was etched on another bullet.<\/p>\n
