Tyler Robinson was a brilliant, church-going kid who received a prestigious academic scholarship to college before he grew increasingly political and fatally targeted conservative influencer Charlie Kirk, according to police and neighbors Friday.<\/p>\n

Robinson, 22, was a \u201cvery nice\u201d Mormon, or member of the Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, and regularly went to church with his family when he was young, said neighbors of his family\u2019s home in Washington, Utah, in the state\u2019s far southwest corner.<\/p>\n

\u201cI knew his mom, you know, just by church and school,\u201d local Kristin Scheiermann told The Post, referring to the suspect\u2019s mother, Amber.<\/p>\n

Robinson \u201cwas very nice.<\/p>\n

\u201cHe was smart. I hear he aced his ACTs [pre-college exam]. I hear he had a full-ride scholarship\u201d to college, she said, adding that he would get on and off the bus each day to and from Pine View High School.<\/p>\n
