Charlie Kirk\u2019s alleged assassin Tyler Robinson<\/a>\u00a0was raised Mormon, and yet fired his fatal shot just moments after the conservative influencer had spoken in glowing praise of the Church of LDS.<\/p>\n

Footage from Kirk\u2019s final event at Utah Valley University on Wednesday shows him bantering with a member of the Mormon faith in the crowd, referring to him as the \u201cguy in the shirt and tie at the front here,\u201d before going on to speak of his love for the church.<\/p>\n

\u201cI love how Mormons send missionaries around the world, I love how polite they are. \u2026 Half my team is Mormon,\u201d he said, to huge cheers from the Utah crowd.<\/p>\n

\u201cMormons are great people. Let me just say, I\u2019m an evangelical Christian, but I\u2019m not one of those guys that hates on Mormons,\u201d he added.<\/p>\n

<\/span><\/span>Kirk\u2019s words came just minutes before he was shot and killed \u2014 allegedly by Robinson \u2014 whose neighbor said he attended the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints in St. George, Utah.<\/p>\n
