Years before he was accused of fatally shooting Charlie Kirk<\/a>, alleged gunman, Tyler Robinson, was seen wearing a Donald Trump<\/a> Halloween costume on Facebook.<\/p>\n

Tyler Robinson, 22, has been identified as the gunman who fatally shot Kirk<\/a> while the conservative activist was speaking at a public debate event at Utah<\/a> Valley University on Wednesday.<\/p>\n

In a now-deleted Facebook post, believed to have been shared by Robinson’s mother, there was a 2017 photo of Robinson with his siblings wearing their Halloween costumes.<\/p>\n

Wearing a red shirt, Robinson could be seen in one photo in a costume that appeared to show him sitting on the shoulders of President Trump.<\/p>\n

“Happy Halloween! So weird not trick or treating with the boys this year,” Robinson’s mother wrote on the post. “Off they go!”<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

Utah<\/a> Governor Spencer Cox said in a press conference on Friday that Robinson reached out to a family friend after the shooting and either allegedly confessed or implied to have committed the incident<\/a>. The family friend contacted police.<\/p>\n

“Good morning, ladies and gentlemen. We got him,” said Cox.<\/p>\n

Investigators were able to identify Robinson through footage of the suspect arriving on the campus in a Dodge Challenger at approximately 8:29 a.m. on September 10, the governor said.<\/p>\n
