Jordan Chiles has been ordered to return her Olympic bronze medal following a ruling by the International Olympic Committee, with the American the victim of a verdict from the Court of Arbitration for Sport voiding a scoring inquiry.<\/p>\n

Chiles is being made to relinquish her hardware as CAS voided an on-floor appeal by the gymnast\u2019s coach that sent her into third place, claiming the appeal came four seconds after the one-minute scoring time limit.<\/p>\n

Her sister, Jazmin Chiles, has lashed out at the decision via social media, also exposing some of the racist remarks she has been treated to.<\/p>\n

\u201cPlease keep Jordan (and my family) in your prayers,\u201d\u00a0<\/em>she wrote on her\u00a0Instagram Story<\/a>.\u00a0\u201cRacism is real, it exists, it is alive and well. They have officially, five days later, stripped her of one of her medals.\u00a0<\/em><\/p>\n

\u201cNot because she didn\u2019t win, not because she was drugged, not because she stepped out of bounds. Not because she wasn\u2019t good enough. But because the judges failed to give her difficulty [score] and forced an inquiry to be made.\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n

Jordan Chiles Exposed Racist Messages She Received Online<\/h2>\n

Jazmin made it clear that she wasn\u2019t asserting that racism was the reason for the decision and wasn\u2019t accusing any of the competitors of racism. However, she was pointing to the\u00a0\u201cvulgar and vile\u201d<\/em>\u00a0comments her family has had to endure amid the saga.<\/p>\n

She disclosed having been called a monkey and the N-word by various users, sharing one such message to her story.<\/p>\n

Gina Chiles, the mother of Jordan and Jazmin Chiles, has also alluded to the abuse her family has suffered during the row.<\/p>\n
