FOX Sports committed a humiliating graphic botch while referencing the \u201cGolden Power Couple\u201d of U.S. women\u2019s soccer star Mallory Swanson and her husband,\u00a0Chicago Cubs<\/a>\u00a0shortstop Dansby Swanson.<\/p>\n

On Saturday, Mallory Swanson and the Americans defeated Brazil 1-0 to claim Olympic gold, with the 26-year-old scoring the lone goal in the finals. This was the first Olympic triumph for the powerhouse United States women\u2019s national soccer team since the 2012 Summer Olympics in London.<\/p>\n

To make things even sweeter for the beloved sports couple, Dansby registered his 1,000th career hit in Saturday\u2019s 3-1 victory over the\u00a0Chicago White Sox<\/a>.<\/p>\n

FOX Sports televised the Cubs-White Sox game. During the contest, the network referenced the special day for Dansby and Mallory Swanson with a \u201cGolden Power Couple\u201d graphic detailing their accomplishments.<\/p>\n

As observers noted, there was just one simple issue. FOX Sports showed a photo of Mallory\u2019s teammate, Sophia Smith, and not Swanson herself:<\/p>\n
