An assistant dean at Middle Tennessee State University is learning the hard way why people should keep bad things to themselves.<\/p>\n
The dean was fired after posting \u201cinappropriate and callous comments\u201d about the\u00a0murder of Charlie Kirk<\/a>, the school\u2019s president said in a Facebook post.<\/p>\n The move, \u201cconcerning the horrific and tragic murder of Charlie Kirk,\u201d Middle Tennessee State University\u2019s President Sidney McPhee said in a statement, came after Kirk was shot in the neck on Wednesday as he answered questions about transgender individuals and mass shootings.<\/p>\n The dean said she has \u201czero sympathy\u201d for\u00a0Charlie Kirk, whose wife and kids were present during his shooting death.<\/a><\/p>\n Now she has no employment.<\/p>\n The school fired Laura Sosh-Lightsy, who \u201cjoined the MTSU family in June 2004. Laura has over two decades of experience in student development.\u201d<\/p>\n
