Verified videos taken at the scene of the shooting of high-profile right-wing activist Charlie Kirk show his final seconds on Earth.<\/p>\n

Kirk, an influential conservative activist and a close ally of US President Donald Trump,\u00a0was shot dead while speaking at an event at a university in Utah.<\/a><\/p>\n

The 31-year-old, who had been invited to speak at Utah Valley University, was seated under a white tent addressing a crowd of thousands of people when gunfire erupted just as Kirk responded to a question about gun violence.<\/p>\n

\u201cCounting or not counting gang violence?\u201d Kirk replied to being asked how many mass shooters there had been.<\/p>\n

Less than a second later, he would be\u00a0slumped over with blood pouring from his neck<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Now, social media has taken that footage and slowed it down to the point where you could see what looks like the kill shot entering the frame and taking his life.<\/p>\n

The FBI said it\u2019s working alongside local and state law enforcement in Utah to find the shooter of Charlie Kirk.<\/p>\n

Kirk, who is among the country\u2019s most prominent youth political activists, was doing something he had been doing for years, which was sitting under a tent and speaking to a crowd of thousands while engaging in political topics.<\/p>\n

Videos circulating online showed the gruesome scene as Kirk slumped over after being shot.<\/p>\n

The\u00a0FBI said it has recovered what is believed to be the weapon<\/a>\u00a0used in the fatal shooting. A \u201chigh-powered bolt-action rifle\u201d was said to be used. It was recovered in a wooded area near where the shooting took place.<\/p>\n

The manhunt for the suspect, who is believed to be college-aged, is still ongoing as the FBI has asked the public for tips and any footage that they might have.<\/p>\n
