Conservative activist\u00a0Charlie Kirk has tragically lost his life at the hands of senseless gun violence.<\/a><\/p>\n

Kirk, a conservative media personality, was shot at Utah Valley University while speaking at an event on campus on Wednesday.<\/p>\n

A spokesperson for Turning Point USA confirmed that Kirk died following the shooting. \u201cCharlie went to his eternal reward with Jesus Christ in Heaven,\u201d the group, which Kirk cofounded, said in a statement.<\/p>\n

Plain clothes police officers were said to be in the crowd, but not much they could do about somebody shooting from 200 yards away, which is what has been reported.<\/p>\n

In the wake of his shocking death, many loved ones and friends of Kirk have taken to social media to speak about the type of person he was.<\/p>\n

Kansas City Chiefs<\/a>\u00a0kicker Harrison Butker, who\u00a0posted a message about Kirk<\/a>\u00a0following the news, was one of them. He took to his X account and posted the final text message he received from Charlie Kirk, which was sent in October 2024.<\/p>\n
