Conservative activist and close President Donald Trump ally Charlie Kirk was pronounced dead less than three hours after being shot during a public event at Utah Valley University.<\/p>\n

At 4:40 p.m. EST, Donald Trump announced on\u00a0Truth Social<\/a>\u00a0that Charlie Kirk had died after\u00a0being shot in the neck<\/a>\u00a0in a horrific scene. The President offered his condolences to Kirk\u2019s family in the heartbreaking announcement:<\/p>\n
