Just days after a blockbuster trade sent Micah Parsons to the Green Bay Packers,\u00a0Dallas Cowboys<\/a>\u00a0fans found their team at the center of another controversy after\u00a0Jalen Carter spat on quarterback Dak Prescott.<\/a><\/p>\n

Seconds into the game on Thursday night,\u00a0Prescott spat on the ground near the Eagles\u2019 defensive huddle\u00a0<\/a>while Philadelphia fullback Ben VanSumeren was getting carted off the field.<\/p>\n

Jalen Carter saw what he had done, walked up to Prescott, and spat on his chest. The referees saw this and promptly kicked him out of the game.<\/p>\n

Six seconds had passed in the game, and Carter did not play a single defensive snap.<\/p>\n

It wasn\u2019t known at the time why he spat, but once the video was found, it would soon show that\u00a0Dak Prescott<\/a>\u00a0spat in his general direction first.<\/p>\n

Once fans saw that footage, they began to understand Jalen Carter\u2019s behavior.<\/p>\n

Thursday night\u2019s game between the Cowboys and Eagles took a wild turn into spit-gate when Eagles defensive tackle Jalen Carter was ejected for spitting on Cowboys quarterback Dak Prescott.<\/p>\n

Prescott could be seen spitting in the direction of the Eagles before that moment. He made it clear in his postgame press conference that he spits \u201ca thousand times throughout the game.\u201d<\/p>\n

The Dallas Cowboys star QB said he\u00a0\u201cwasn\u2019t going to spit on my lineman and I just spit ahead,\u201d<\/strong>\u00a0which led to Carter asking if Prescott was trying to spit on him.<\/p>\n

Prescott said he found that question to be\u00a0\u201cinsulting\u201d<\/strong>\u00a0because\u00a0\u201cI wouldn\u2019t spit on somebody.\u201d<\/strong><\/p>\n

\u201cI actually said words like, \u2018Why the hell would I\u2019 \u2014 excuse me, but probably even more colorful \u2014 \u2018what would I need to spit on you for?\u2019 He just spit on me in that moment, it was more of a surprise than anything,\u201d Prescott said.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n
