Taylor Swift knows who to call if she’s interested in tackling the Super Bowl halftime show<\/p>\n

While on the Today show Wednesday, NFL commissioner Roger Goodell said the league “would always love to have Taylor play”<\/p>\n

He added that he was \u201cwaiting on my friend Jay-Z\u201d to make the announcement<\/p>\n

\nIn a guest spot on the Today show on Wednesday, Sept. 3, the league leader rolled out the welcome mat for the \u201cFortnight\u201d singer, and said the newly engaged superstar is \u201cwelcome\u201d to book a future engagement at the big game.
\n\u201cWe would always love to have Taylor play,\u201d Goodell said. \u201cShe is a special, special talent. And obviously, she would be welcome at any time.\u201d
\nWhen co-host Savannah Guthrie asked if it was \u201cin the works\u201d or a \u201cmaybe,\u201d Goodell didn\u2019t drop the ball.
\n\u201cI can\u2019t tell you anything about that,\u201d he said. \u201cIt\u2019s a maybe.\u201d
\nGoodell then added that he was \u201cwaiting on my friend Jay-Z\u201d to handle the logistics.<\/p>\n

Jay-Z and Roc Nation\u2019s partnership with the NFL began in 2019, and the rapper acts as the league\u2019s \u201clive music entertainment strategist\u201d for the halftime show, Super Bowl producer Jesse Collins told Variety last year.
