And while we all love seeing the two together, it seems no one has been more impressed by the singer’s presence than those nearest and dearest to the Kansas City Chiefs tight end. And her effect on them goes beyond just her superstardom and hanging in suite seats.<\/p>\n

On Aug. 13, Travis and Jason thrilled fans by featuring the “Blank Space” singer on an episode of their podcast, New Heights<\/em>. And though she gets a front row seat to their love, Travis’ mom, Donna, was happy to see the couple opening up a bit to the public.<\/p>\n

\u201cI did watch the podcast \u2026 and I think it was just really, really eventful,\u201d Donna tells PEOPLE of the episode in which Swift unveiled the album art for her 12th studio album,\u00a0The Life of a Showgirl<\/em><\/a>,\u00a0kissed her boyfriend<\/a>, shared her\u00a0\u201cobsession\u201d with baking<\/a>\u00a0sourdough bread and\u00a0teared up<\/a>\u00a0when talking about regaining the rights to her music.<\/p>\n

\u201cIt was authentic. It was just something I think everybody was thrilled to see, and it was a very loving podcast,\u201d\u00a0Donna added.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

While at The Kingdom<\/em> premiere<\/a>, Travis’ dad, Ed, also gave his insights on the lovebirds’ relationship. Asked where Travis’ happiness stems from these days, the patriarch was swift to answer, “Oh, Taylor. There’s no question about it.”<\/p>\n

He also revealed he thought Swift’s record-breaking appearance<\/a> on\u00a0New Heights<\/em><\/a>\u00a0was “so good.”<\/p>\n

“I think it was awesome,” he added. “It was great to see them go back and forth. They’re two people obviously very much in love.”<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

While appearing on the Pivot Podcast<\/em><\/a> as the 2024 football season kicked off, Jason shared which one of Swift’s hits his 3-year-old daughter Elliotte has been singing on repeat.<\/p>\n

“I’ve been listening a lot to ‘I Can Do It With a Broken Heart,’ ” the dad of three said.<\/p>\n

“There’s a line in that where ‘I’m a real tough kid. I can handle my s—,’ ” he says. “Ellie’s 3 years old and she says, ‘I’m a real tough kid. I can handle my stuff.’ That’s all I hear on a daily basis, because it gets a laugh out of me every time.”<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

Jason’s little white lie to his daughters about why they can’t have a cat may be revealed if the girls ever meet Swift’s cats<\/a>\u00a0Meredith, Benjamin and Olivia.<\/p>\n

After sharing on an episode of New Heights<\/em>\u00a0with Jason and Travis Kelce<\/a>\u00a0that he has been telling his kids that cats “are poisonous”<\/a> to get out of adding a feline to their household, social media users quickly pointed out that he’s setting himself up for failure.<\/p>\n

“Jason Kelce has been telling his kids cats are poisonous so they don’t have to get one?? LMAO Get Tree Paine on the phone \ud83d\ude2d,” one user wrote, referencing Swift’s rep.<\/p>\n

“And what is Jason’s plan when they meet Auntie TayTay’s cats?” another asked.<\/p>\n

Following Travis’ surprise appearance on stage with Taylor during one of the Eras Tour stops in London, Donna showed off her proud mom energy and reposted a video of the iconic moment to her Facebook page<\/a>.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

Following the highly-anticipated release of Swift’s latest album The Tortured Poets Department<\/em>, Donna Kelce shared that like many fans, she wasted no time when diving in and listening.<\/p>\n

“I listened to the whole album, and I listened to it all morning long when it was released,” she told PEOPLE in April. <\/a><\/p>\n

“I was just very impressed. She is a very talented woman, and I think it is probably her best work,” the mom of two added.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

Donna confirmed to PEOPLE in mid-November that she saw\u00a0Swift<\/a>‘s\u00a0Eras Tour\u00a0concert film<\/a>\u00a0\u2014 and revealed her thoughts on the box office-topping movie.<\/p>\n

“I did see it and I did like it. It was awesome,” she shared<\/a>, adding she was “just totally enthralled” by the “extremely, extremely talented” songstress.<\/p>\n

When asked if seeing the Eras Tour in concert is on her bucket list, she replied: \u201cHopefully in the future. Yeah, you never know!\u201d<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

In his first interview since Travis and Taylor became an item, Ed Kelce told PEOPLE<\/a> he watched interviews and appearances with the “Bejeweled” singer in an effort to get to know her better.<\/p>\n

Ed admitted he’s “gone back and listened to interviews she’s done over the years” since meeting Swift “because it gives you a sense of what a person is like.”<\/p>\n

Specifically, “she did a\u00a0commencement address at NYU<\/a>\u00a0and I thought that was pretty cool,” Ed shared, explaining that watching Swift speak in interviews “just confirms my initial impression of her,” which is that “she’s a very genuine, down-to-earth” person.<\/p>\n

“She’s America’s girl,” added Ed, who was first seen with Swift\u00a0in a suite at Arrowhead Stadium<\/a>\u00a0on Oct. 12, during the Kansas City Chiefs home game against the Denver Broncos.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

Ed continued to\u00a0sing Swift’s praises telling PEOPLE<\/a> about the acts of kindness the decorated singer demonstrated.<\/p>\n

\u201cI\u2019ll tell you something very special that I noticed about Taylor the first time I met her,\u201d Ed began, \u201cWe’re sitting in the suite, she gets up and in the front room, she gets up to go get a drink or something and she starts picking up empty bottles, cans, plates that are scattered around. Because in the suites, everybody gets stuff and you empty it down wherever you can.\u201d<\/p>\n

He continued, \u201cAnd I’m just thinking, I don’t think she got the diva memo. She didn’t get the spoiled musician. She doesn’t know how to pull that off. And that really to me said a whole lot,\u201d he told PEOPLE. \u201cShe’s very smart. I mean, very. That comes through right away.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

While she’s a big fan of the “Cruel Summer” singer now, Donna admitted she wasn’t a Swiftie prior to meeting her.<\/p>\n

“I would say not,” Donna told PEOPLE<\/a>, when asked if she would use the label that mega fans of Swift call themselves. “My era was Earth, Wind and Fire, Chaka Khan, things like that. That’s more my music.”<\/p>\n

“But obviously, talent is talent,” the beloved NFL mom clarified.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

After Donna was once again spotted cozying up to the 12-time Grammy winner during one of the Chiefs’ games, millions of Swifties and NFL fans were curious to know what the pair was chatting about<\/a> in between plays.<\/p>\n

During an appearance on the\u00a0Today<\/em><\/a>\u00a0show, Donna joked that she’ll “never tell” what she and Swift talked about.<\/p>\n

But then she went on to share some<\/em> of their conversation, saying, “You know what it was, I was talking about this: you know when the commercial people come out in the orange gloves and they\u2019re on the field. I was mentioning when they go like this,” she said as she moved her hands in a circle, adding, “the commercial is over and they can play again.”<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

During an appearance on the\u00a0Got It From My Momma<\/em><\/a>\u00a0podcast on Oct. 6, Donna Kelce revealed that hanging out with the 33-year-old pop star during Kansas City Chiefs games this season has been a surreal experience.<\/p>\n

\u201cI feel like I\u2019m in an alternate universe, because it\u2019s something I\u2019ve never been involved with before,\u201d Donna told host Jennifer Vickery Smith<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Donna added that she’s surprised that the hype around her son\u2019s romance has yet to die down, saying the last few weeks have been a \u201cwhirlwind,\u201d and that there seemingly is no end in sight.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

The two were cuddled together watching the Eagles take on the Los Angeles Rams as\u00a0Wyatt<\/a>, 4, asked who’s who on the field.<\/p>\n

“Just another swiftie tryna learn football, or a kid tryna avoid a nap. Who knows? #GoBirds,” the mom of three joked in the caption, giving a subtle nod to Travis’ budding romance with the Grammy winner.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

While Jason is a big supporter of Travis’ relationship<\/a>, he admitted to NBC Sports<\/a> that the public interest in the new couple is \u201ca lot.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cIt\u2019s certainly been weird, the level that it is now,\u201d he said. \u201cOn one hand, I\u2019m happy for my brother that he seems to be in a relationship that he\u2019s excited about, that he is genuine about. But there\u2019s another end of it where it\u2019s like, \u2018Man, this is a lot.\u2019 \u201d<\/p>\n

He continued, \u201cThere\u2019s paparazzi talking about him fueling his car before the game today and I\u2019m like, \u2018Is that really necessary information to share?\u2019 \u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cThis is another level of stardom that typically football players don\u2019t deal with. And so on one hand, really, really happy for my brother and where he\u2019s at in his current situation with Taylor but on the other hand, there\u2019s some, I think, alarms sometimes with how you know, over-in-pursuit people can be,\u201d he told NBC Sports.<\/p>\n

Nonetheless, the protective big bro remains happy for his sibling, as long as he is safe. \u201cOverall, he can deal with some of this,\u201d Jason added. \u201cAs long as it\u2019s not, you know, becoming a threat to his safety and things like that.”<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

For the second Philadelphia Eagles’ Christmas album \u2014 an annual recording of holiday songs done to raise money for charity \u2014 the team managed to tap the legendary Patti LaBelle<\/a> to sing a duet with offensive tackle Jordan Mailata.<\/p>\n

And according to Jason, there are plenty more duets to go around<\/a> should one “Shake It Off” singer feel inclined to join in on the holiday fun.<\/p>\n

“Maybe, not this one, not this time around,\u201d he said while on the Today<\/a> <\/em>show. “That would be pretty incredible, maybe in the future,”<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

When Swift first started showing up to Kansas City Chiefs<\/a> games, fans wanted to know whether there was a budding romance or the visits were just friendly. And because details were so scarce, Swifties grabbed hold of anything they could \u2014 including a not-so-subtle Jason Kelce prank on the fandom.<\/p>\n

While on Audacy SportsRadio 94WIP<\/a>, Jason was asked about the rumored romance and though sarcastic, his answer caused a firestorm among Swifties and Chiefs nation alike.<\/p>\n

“It’s hard to answer because I don’t really know a lot about Travis’ love life,\u201d the Eagles center said. \u201cI try to keep his business kind of his business, stay out of that world.” But, he added, “having said that, man, I think they’re doing great and I think it’s all 100% true, and I hope this thing goes a mile \u2014 no, I’m joking, I don’t know what’s happening.”<\/p>\n

He would later take back the joke, saying, “My reaction was exactly, this is exactly what I think is gonna happen. She\u2019s gonna go to the game, and the whole world\u2019s gonna lose their goddamn mind,” Jason said of his joke taking off.<\/p>\n

“That\u2019s exactly what I thought was gonna happen\u2026 7:30 in the morning, I\u2019m happy that WIP [the radio show] got the [publicity] for it, but I was just trying to be sarcastic,” he added.<\/p>\n

All in all, the former Eagles star said it was “fun watching the whole world<\/a>\u201d take in Swift’s presence at the Chiefs game.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n
