Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce have confirmed they’re engaged. <\/strong><\/p>\n

The much-loved couple<\/a> confirmed news of their engagement on Instagram<\/a> where Swift<\/a> shared a series of photos, including one showing Kelce<\/a> on one knee in a garden full of flowers.<\/p>\n

Other images showed the ‘Shake It Off’ singer showing off a large diamond on her ring finger, as well as the newly engaged couple embracing.<\/p>\n

Alongside the post, Swift wrote: “Your English teacher and your gym teacher are getting married.”<\/p>\n

News of the engagement comes after a very public and beloved relationship blossomed between the two, with Swift and Kelce having first been seen together in September 2023, following a home game for the Kansas City Chiefs, where Kelce and his team defeated the Chicago Bears.<\/p>\n

In 2023, Kelce later revealed that he’d attempted to get a friendship bracelet to Swift with his phone number on<\/a> – but it didn’t work.<\/p>\n

He later opened up more on how their romance began<\/a>, revealing that the two had already been talking before they met up for the first time in New York.<\/p>\n

In the months that followed, the Chief\u2019s Tight End had Swift’s<\/a> support at several of his games, including Super Bowl LVXIII<\/a>, where the football player and Swift shared a kiss following the conclusion of the big game.<\/p>\n

Since the end of Kelce\u2019s successful 2023\/2024 NFL<\/a> season, Kelce was seen on the stage of the singer’s hugely successful Eras Tour<\/a>.<\/p>\n

While the pair had been seen in public and on the field in the past, the NFL’s star appearance on Swift’s stage<\/a> saw him enter his beau’s domain for the first time.<\/p>\n

Many fans have expected the couple to get engaged, with rampant speculation among Swifties online leading up to the big moment for the two superstars.<\/p>\n

The proposal also comes just days after Swift appeared on Kelce’s New Heights podcast, where she announced her upcoming album, ‘The Life of a Showgirl’.<\/p>\n

It also comes following reports that Kelce didn\u2019t have marriage on his mind in May 2024, with insiders telling<\/a> Us Weekly that it could take time for the couple to get to this point.<\/p>\n
