Footage circulating online showing the son of a former UFC fighter attacking a wrestler at an independent wrestling event has gone viral after it was broadcast online.<\/strong><\/p>\n

The clip sees MMA fighter Raja Jackson, son of Quinton ‘Rampage’ Jackson, appearing to pummel a professional wrestler<\/a> into the mat during a fight at a Los Angeles<\/a> Knokx Pro Wrestling event.<\/p>\n

The horrifying incident saw 25-year-old Jackson hoist his opponent Stuart Smith, known as Syko Stu, over his head before slamming him into the mat in the ring.<\/p>\n

Jackson then began punching his opponent repeatedly as he lay seemingly unconscious on the mat until other wrestlers jumped in to stop the incident from going any further.<\/p>\n

Fightful reporter Sean Ross Sapp provided context on the incident, saying that while a confrontation between Jackson and Smith had been planned, the extent of injuries and violence allegedly wasn\u2019t.<\/p>\n

The journalist wrote on X, formerly known as Twitter<\/a>: “Based on what I’ve heard, the spot with Raja Jackson at Knokx Pro Wrestling was planned. However, Raja Jackson knocked the person out — ring name Syko Stu– and followed up with a lot of heavy punches to Syko Stu, which were not planned to do that kind of damage.<\/p>\n

“Stu was rushed to the hospital with serious injuries. We are working to find out more and have Stu in our thoughts.”<\/p>\n

While we wait on an update on Smith’s condition, a further video circulating online reveals an earlier altercation between the two fighters.<\/p>\n

The video sees Smith hit Jackson round the head with an unidentifiable object, with Jackson’s father stating the interaction in the ring was planned as ‘payback’, which ultimately ‘went wrong’.<\/p>\n

“I want to clear up the misinformation about my son Raja,” he wrote on X.<\/p>\n

“I\u2019ve been confirmed that the wrestler (Stewart Smith aka Syko Stu) is awake and stable. Raja was unexpectedly hit in the side of the head by him moments before Smith\u2019s match, Raja was told that he could get his \u201cpayback\u201d in the ring, I thought it was apart of the show. It was bad judgement, and a work that went wrong.”<\/p>\n

Rampage continued: “Raja is a MMA fighter not a pro wrestler and had no business involved in an event like this. I don\u2019t condone my son\u2019s actions AT ALL! He suffered a concussion from sparring only days ago and had no business doing anything remotely close to physical contact.<\/p>\n

“As a father, I’m deeply concerned with his health AND the well being of Mr. Smith. That being said I\u2019m very upset that any of this happened, but my main concern now is that Mr. Smith will make a speedy recovery.”<\/p>\n<\/div>\n
