Former President Donald Trump drew fresh attention this week after photos from a recent press conference appeared to show makeup applied to his hand. The incident has led to renewed public scrutiny and speculation over his health.<\/p>\n

During a briefing held in the Oval Office, Trump\u2019s right hand was noticeably covered with a patch of lighter-toned foundation. Despite attempts to obscure it by folding his left hand over his right, the makeup remained visible when he stood to greet FIFA President Gianni Infantino, who had just arrived from Italy.<\/p>\n

As images from the event circulated online, questions quickly followed. Some users focused on the apparent use of makeup. “Looks like makeup,” one person wrote. Another added, “It is base makeup. Likely over a bruise. Point is?”<\/p>\n

Others were more critical of the application itself. “The massive glob of discolored foundation on President Donald Trump’s hand today really has me questioning whether they are even trying to blend correctly,” one comment read.<\/p>\n

Speculation soon turned to possible health concerns. “Can somebody explain this patch on Donald Trump’s hand? Looks odd,” a netizen asked. Another noted, “Notice how he covers his right hand with his left to hide the bruising.”<\/p>\n

Concern over Trump\u2019s physical condition was echoed in more pointed reactions. \u201c”This guy is not doing well. Hands all bruised,” one critic wrote. Others questioned whether more was going on. “What happened to Donald Trump’s hand?” one asked. Another observed, “Is something wrong with his left hand? Fingers all the same length and looks swollen?”<\/p>\n

This is not the first time Trump’s hands have drawn public attention. In July, the former president was seen with apparent bruising on his hand and visible swelling in his legs, raising similar questions about his health.<\/p>\n

According to a letter from the president’s physician, Capt. Sean Barbabella, Trump, 79, underwent a “comprehensive examination, including diagnostic vascular studies.” The evaluation revealed chronic venous insufficiency \u2014 a condition the letter described as “benign and common, particularly in individuals over the age of 70.”<\/p>\n

The tests were ordered after Trump reportedly experienced “mild swelling in his lower legs” over the course of several weeks. “Importantly, there was no evidence of deep vein thrombosis (DVT) or arterial disease,” Leavitt said, quoting from the physician\u2019s findings. Laboratory results were also “within normal limits.”<\/p>\n

In addition to vascular studies, Trump received an echocardiogram, which, according to Barbabella\u2019s report, showed no signs of heart failure, renal impairment, or systemic illness.<\/p>\n

Despite these reassurances, the latest images have reignited public discussion around Trump’s health and physical appearance \u2014 particularly the recurring use of makeup on his hands.<\/p>\n

We previously reported that Trump made an unusual appearance on the White House roof. On August 5, 2025, he reportedly walked across it in a dark suit, white shirt, and red tie, with security staff following close behind.<\/p>\n

The unusual scene drew quick responses on social media. One commenter wrote, “Maybe he got lost?” Others joined in with humorous takes. One observer noted, “Looks like the nurses took their eyes off him for a minute.”<\/p>\n

More reactions from netizens poured in. “Not his house!” another remarked. A different observer added, “He’s acting like he owns the place. It’s ‘the People’s house’, not his [sic]!” Meanwhile, one viewer said, “I can’t believe the secret service [sic] let him up there \ud83e\udd21\ud83e\udd23\ud83c\udfaf\ud83c\udfaf\ud83c\udfaf.”<\/p>\n

Amid the jokes, a few offered a more positive perspective. One person wrote, “Ooh, a presidential renovation? Can’t wait to see the new look! \ud83e\udd29” Another added, “Honestly, it’s great to see a hands-on president. The White House could use some updates, just like our country. Let’s get it done.”<\/p>\n

As Trump stayed on the roof, reporters on the ground called out to him. As reported by ABC News, one shouted, “Mr. President, what are you doing up there?” Trump answered, “Just taking a little walk.”<\/p>\n

When asked, “What are you building?” he replied, “It goes with the ballroom, which is on the other side…Something beautiful,” while gesturing with his hands.<\/p>\n
