Fans of much-loved judge Frank Caprio are reminiscing about some of his most wholesome moments following his death aged 88. <\/strong><\/p>\n

Caprio, who worked at a court in Providence, Rhode Island and went viral<\/a> for his actions on the show Caught In Providence, <\/em>passed away<\/a> after being diagnosed with pancreatic cancer<\/a>.<\/p>\n

A statement announcing his death made clear that Caprio was ‘beloved around the world for his deep compassion, humility, and unwavering faith’, noting that he ‘touched millions through his work in the courtroom, and even more through his example of humanity.’<\/p>\n

“His warmth, humor, and kindness left a lasting impression on everyone who had the privilege of knowing him or hearing his words,” the statement added.<\/p>\n

News of Caprio’s death has prompted fans to flood his social media <\/a>pages with condolences, while others have taken to sharing clips of his good deeds<\/a>.<\/p>\n

One such video has been shared on Reddit, with the title: “Judge Frank Caprio being wholesome with a 96-year-old after he got a speeding ticket.”<\/p>\n

This particular court case saw Caprio meet a 96-year-old driver called Mr Coella, who was hit with a school zone violation for exceeding the speed limit.<\/p>\n

After hearing his charge, Coella explained: \u201cI don\u2019t drive that fast, Judge. I\u2019m 96 years old and I drive slowly. I only drive when I have to.\u201d<\/p>\n

Coella then explained that he was taking his disabled son to have his blood work done: \u201cHe\u2019s 63. I take him for blood work every two weeks, because he\u2019s got cancer.\u201d<\/p>\n

The driver appeared to get emotional while speaking of his son, prompting Caprio to seemingly tear up as well.<\/p>\n

The judge then showed his kind spirit as he told Coella: \u201cYou are a good man. You really are what America is all about. Here you are in your nineties, and you\u2019re still taking care of your family. It\u2019s just a wonderful thing for you.<\/p>\n

Caprio died following a pancreatic cancer diagnosis (ABC)<\/cite><\/div>\n

\u201cI wish the best for your son, and I wish you good health<\/a>, and your case is dismissed. Good luck to you and God bless you.\u201d<\/p>\n

The clip has left Reddit<\/a> users in awe, with one viewer writing: “I just read that this man passed and I actually cried. I never cry. Now, watching this I’m crying again. Why can’t all humans be like him?”<\/p>\n

“Rest in peace you beautiful human being,” another viewer added.<\/p>\n

The statement announcing Caprio’s death assured that he would be remembered ‘not only as a respected judge, but as a loving husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather, and friend’.<\/p>\n
