In a recent interview, the actress spoke about her family plans and how she felt about adopting. <\/strong><\/p>\n

Millie Bobby Brown<\/a> has grown up in front of many viewers\u2019 eyes due to her role in Stranger Things<\/em>,<\/a> but the 21-year-old has had big family plans for a while.<\/p>\n

So, when she took to Instagram<\/a> to announce that she had welcomed her first child with husband Jake Bongiovi<\/a> it stunned fans – with many congratulating the star.<\/p>\n

Writing on her page on August 21 she gave fans some details but omitted the name of the pair\u2019s child and made a specific reference to wanting privacy at this time.<\/p>\n

She wrote: \u201cThis summer, we welcomed our sweet baby girl through adoption. We are beyond excited to embark on this beautiful next chapter of parenthood in both peace and privacy.<\/p>\n

\u201cAnd then there were 3. Love, Millie and Jake.\u201d<\/p>\n

While many fans were shocked at the news, for others it didn\u2019t come as a big surprise as they had heard the actress speak about adoption in March earlier this year.<\/p>\n

While on the SmartLess<\/em> podcast<\/a> with hosts Jason Bateman, Sean Hayes and Will Arnett, Brown opened up about her family plans and the dynamic she wants.<\/p>\n

She said: \u201cIt has been my thing since before I met Jake.<\/p>\n

\u201cSince I was a baby, I told my mum I want to be a mom just like the way my mom was to me and my nan.<\/p>\n

\u201cMy grandmother is like a huge part of my life and Jake knows how important it is to me and of course I want to focus on really establishing myself as an actor and as a producer but I also find its so important to start a family, for me personally.<\/p>\n

\u201cJake was like we cannot do that until we get married so that was his thing and my thing was I really want a family, I really want a big family like I’m one of four as he\u2019s one of for.<\/p>\n

\u201cSo it is definitely in our future.\u201d<\/p>\n

Well, a few month\u2019s later and that future has come pretty quickly.<\/p>\n

Brown also spoke about her feelings towards adoption and how she doesn\u2019t differentiate between that and having biological children.<\/p>\n

She continued: \u201cFor me, I don\u2019t see having your own child as really any different than adopting.<\/p>\n

\u201cBecause for me, my home is full of love for anyone and anything and that is what we stand by, Jake and I, the door is always open and we want everyone to feel really comfortable.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/div>\n
