A Burger King employee who went viral for running an entire restaurant for 12 hours alone has claimed she’s been fired by the fast food chain.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Nykia Hamilton reached internet fame in July after manning all stations of a\u00a0Burger King<\/a>\u00a0restaurant in Columbia,\u00a0South Carolina<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Yep, the\u00a0mother-of-three<\/a>\u00a0managed\u00a0everything,\u00a0<\/em>including the front desk and the drive-thru counter of the store.<\/p>\n

\u201c[She\u2019s] doing the fries, the burger, the chicken sandwiches. She\u2019s doing everything by herself,\u201d the customer said in the clip,\u00a0as per<\/a>\u00a0the New York Post.<\/p>\n

\u201cShe\u2019s doing everything she needs to do to make sure everybody is okay in here.\u201d<\/p>\n

Speaking to WACH Fox 57, the woman\u00a0explained<\/a>\u00a0that she was working by herself because there was a staff shortage due to someone exiting the\u00a0company<\/a>\u00a0with short notice.<\/p>\n

\u201cHad to do the dishes, do prep, do the floor, do the front counter, drive-thru,\u201d she said in an emotional interview.<\/p>\n

Well, Hamilton has since updated her fans on\u00a0TikTok<\/a>\u00a0and claimed she has since been fired by\u00a0Burger King<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Hamilton went viral last month (WACH Fox 57)<\/cite><\/div>\n

“[Burger King] fired me because I\u2019ve been late because of my kids,” the 25-year-old said. “My kids come first. Y\u2019all don\u2019t pay for no babysitter, or nothing.”<\/p>\n

Hamilton then went on to speak about the impact her newfound fame has had on her\u00a0mental health<\/a>.<\/p>\n

“I\u2019m already aggravated, I\u2019m already depressed, all of this mental s***, and motherf****** fucking with me, so leave me alone,” she said.<\/p>\n

The 25-year-old has set up a\u00a0GoFundMe<\/a>\u00a0in recent days after losing her job, and has seen over\u00a0$64,000<\/a>\u00a0donated to her at the time of writing.<\/p>\n

She\u00a0wrote<\/a>\u00a0on the fundraiser: “I am a 25-year-old single mom of 3 who works 2 jobs. I just went viral for working on TikTok. If you wanna contribute, it’s ok. Thank y’all for the support.<\/p>\n

“I wasn’t expecting my life to change how it did. I really do everything for my kids.”<\/p>\n

Prior to her alleged firing, Hamilton told WACH Fox 57 how she routinely works more than 12 hours in a shift, claiming she can\u2019t just put down tools when things get tough because she has three mouths to feed.<\/p>\n

\u201cI be missing out on my kids\u2019 lives when I work so much,\u201d she explained. \u201cI have to provide for them, but I really don\u2019t have time to spend with them, and it hurts me a lot.\u201d<\/p>\n

The day after her solo shift, Hamilton was drafted in again to keep the restaurant afloat.<\/p>\n

\u201cI closed again by myself last night,\u201d she admitted. \u201cI finally got help today. 11 o\u2019clock and will stay until close at 11.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cWe just don\u2019t have any employees. Nobody wants to work anymore.\u201d<\/p>\n
