Trey Hendrickson<\/a> told the world he was leaving the Cincinnati Bengals<\/a> amid stalled contract talks.<\/p>\n

Nothing has gotten better since.<\/p>\n

Hendrickson is under contract with the Bengals for another season and would earn $16 million without an extension.<\/p>\n

The Pittsburgh Steelers<\/a> recently gave defensive star TJ Watt a three-year, $123 million extension with $108M guaranteed. Anything close to this would get Hendrickson back into the fold as the season draws near.<\/p>\n

Hendrickson didn\u2019t win the AP Defensive Player of the Year award last season despite leading the NFL<\/a> with 17.5 sacks. He has earned his payday, but the Bengals have been unwilling to give him the deal he covets.<\/p>\n

As a result, Trey Hendrickson has seen his name floated in many trade proposals<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Now, the standout Bengals defensive end\u2019s name is floating in yet another proposal<\/a> to keep him in the AFC.<\/p>\n

On Twitter, a massive viral proposal has Trey Hendrickson landing with the Cleveland Browns<\/a> to put him on the same team as Myles Garrett. In return, the Browns would send Kenny Pickett<\/a>, Greg Newsome, and a first-round pick.<\/p>\n

The #Browns<\/a> add to their already elite defensive line, and the #Bengals<\/a> get a new backup QB, a starting CB and a first.<\/p>\n

The Bengals must fine Hendrickson $50,000 for each day of camp he misses.<\/p>\n

In addition, any preseason or regular-season game he misses would result in a salary loss of $877,777, according to <\/a>Spotrac.<\/p>\n

Hendrickson attended his first training camp practice late last month. He will not participate until he receives the deal he covets.<\/p>\n

Hendrickson has recorded 17.5 sacks in each of the past two seasons.<\/p>\n

Cincinnati hasn\u2019t seemed all that inclined to shop Hendrickson, but there also doesn\u2019t appear to have been much progress made on a potential deal.<\/p>\n
