Italian Prime Minister Giorgia Meloni was caught ‘rolling her eyes’ at Donald Trump as European leaders congregated at the White House.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Leaders of Italy, Germany, the UK and more all flew in to talk about the next steps for a potential Russia and Ukraine<\/a> ceasefire deal.<\/p>\n

Having been embroiled in a war for several years now and admitting to not coming to a peace agreement with Vladimir Putin after meeting<\/a> with him just days ago, Trump<\/a> held a meeting to plan for the future.<\/p>\n

However, one leader sat beside Trump and eyerolled twice during the discussions – making for viral moments.<\/p>\n

The first time, Italian prime minister Meloni was caught rolling her eyes at German chancellor Friedrich Merz as he told Trump that a ceasefire between Russia and Ukraine is important.<\/p>\n

There, she rolled her eyes several times as both men spoke, and people online found the interaction very telling of what she was thinking.<\/p>\n

The clip has gone viral on social media, showing NATO secretary general Mark Rutte, European<\/a> Commission president Ursula von der Leyen, British prime minister Keir Starmer, Merz, Meloni, Finnish president Alexander Stubb and French president Emmanuel Macron discussing Ukraine.<\/p>\n

While Merz and Macron publicly attempted to push Trump to get a ceasefire deal as negotiations with Russia fell flat, the German chancellor said: \u201cLet’s try and put pressure on Russia, because the credibility of this effort, these efforts were are undertaking today, are depending on at least a ceasefire from the beginning of the serious negotiations, from next stop on.<\/p>\n

\u201cI would like to emphasize this aspect and would like to see a ceasefire from the next meeting, which should be a trilateral meeting, wherever it takes place.\u201d<\/p>\n

But as Merz spoke, Meloni rolled her eyes.<\/p>\n

She then rolled her eyes again while Trump was seemingly making a joke.<\/p>\n

In a clip posted to X<\/a>, Trump can be heard joking that Italian governments ‘don’t last very long’, with the country having had 68 different administrations since WW2.<\/p>\n

The POTUS added: “You’ve lasted a long time, you’re gonna be there a long time.”<\/p>\n

While she was laughing and nodding at the POTUS<\/a>, it was when his attention was no longer on her that she appeared to roll her eyes and faced the front of the room.<\/p>\n

To this, people online had a lot to day.<\/p>\n

One person wrote: \u201cItaly\u2019s Prime Minister definitely has some of the best eye rolling when she wants someone to STFU.\u201d<\/p>\n

Another said: \u201cHOLY S*** – The Prime Minister of Italy, Giorgia Meloni, just ROLLED her eyes after chuckling at Trump\u2019s joke. Trump never fails to be an embarrassment on the world stage.\u201d<\/p>\n

Another speculated: \u201cShe\u2019s thinking \u2018he\u2019s such a fool\u2019.\u201d<\/p>\n

A fourth wrote: \u201cThe whole world rolls their eyes every time he opens his mouth it’s just not usually caught on camera,\u201d while someone else said: \u201cMost women in the world roll their eyes at him, so what’s new.\u201d<\/p>\n

But others believe she wasn\u2019t being malicious.<\/p>\n

In fact, some say she was enjoying a compliment he was paying her, as one wrote: \u201cThat to me seems like a oh stop it you praising me like that you’re gunna make me blush eye roll. She’s actually quite enjoying his compliment FYI.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/div>\n
