Ed Kelce shared a throwback photo with Taylor Swift and his girlfriend Maureen Anne Maguire as he mourned her death on Aug. 1 at age 74<\/p>\n

The photo, which was shared on Maureen’s obituary page, featured the smiling trio decked out in Kansas City Chiefs merchandise<\/p>\n

Ed previously opened up about meeting Swift with Maureen, and previously recalled a funny interaction the three had together<\/p>\n

Ed Kelce is looking back on sweet photos from the past as he mourns the death of his girlfriend, Maureen Anne Maguire.
\nThe father of Travis, 35, and Jason Kelce, 37, shared a throwback picture of himself posing with Taylor Swift and Maguire, who died on Friday, Aug. 1 at age 74.
\nUploaded to her obituary page, the image pictured Ed and Maureen smiling alongside Travis’ girlfriend Swift. The trio are decked out in Kansas City Chiefs attire in support of the star tight end’s team.
\nSwift, who wore a Chiefs crewneck sweatshirt, is seen holding up a friendship bracelet in one hand and a card that reads “Taylor Swift” in the other. Ed and Maureen, who were standing next to the pop superstar in the photo, wore jerseys with Travis’ number 87 on them.<\/p>\n

In February 2024, Ed shared in an interview with the Los Angeles Times how Maureen had been getting to know Swift. He revealed a funny interaction between the pair shortly after they met.
\nWhile Swift, 35, was posing for a picture with Ed, Maureen joked, “Hey, that\u2019s my boyfriend,” to which the singer laughed.
\nIn January 2024, Ed revealed on\u00a0Audacy’s 92.3\u00a0The Fan\u00a0in Cleveland how\u00a0he couldn\u2019t recall Swift\u2019s name\u00a0during an early interaction at Travis\u2019 home and Maguire had to remind him of who she was.
\n“When Travis has a lot of friends coming into town to go to the game, everyone meets at his house, although he\u2019s not there,\u201d Ed said on the show, noting that there can often be up to 20 people there before a home game.
\n\u201cThey have a shuttle that comes and picks everybody up and takes them to the game,” said Ed, who went on to say that he had probably met some of those in attendance “but cannot for the life of me picture, remember who they are.”
\n“And Taylor comes in, walks in with a security guard and I look at her … and I had my girlfriend with me and I mention to Maureen, \u2018Oh, my God, I know this kid but I don\u2019t know what her name is.\u2019 Geez, you know, like a real idiot,\u201d he shared.
\nMaureen then said to him, he recalled, “\u2018You don\u2019t know her? This is Taylor Swift, you idiot.\u2019 ”
\nOn Aug. 2, Ed announced the news that Maureen had died by sharing a link to an obituary on his personal Facebook page.
\nAccording to the obituary, Maureen “passed away peacefully surrounded by her loved ones” and described her as a \u201cdevoted mother\u201d with “impeccable taste.”
\nEd was described as Maguire\u2019s “beloved friend,” with the obituary noting how she would attend games with the devoted football dad.

\n“She also grew an unexpected love for football later in life, sharing many laughs and adventures with her beloved friend Ed Kelce and her loyal dog Butch,” the obituary from Stretch Funeral Home in the suburbs of Philadelphia read.
\n“Together, they traveled often and attended football games and concerts, and embraced every opportunity to enjoy life to the fullest,” it continued.
\nMaureen was also described as a “natural hostess,” per the obituary. “She was famous for throwing the best parties, always full of warmth, laughter, and unforgettable food.”
\nEd was married to Jason and Travis\u2019 mom\u00a0Donna Kelce\u00a0for 25 years after they wed in the late ’70s. They divorced in 2011, and Ed explained that they had stayed together for their sons.
\n\u201cIf we had split as we probably both would have preferred, that would have been a nightmare with the logistics, getting kids where they had to be and providing all the support,\u201d Ed explains in the 2023 documentary\u00a0Kelce.
