That President Donald trump and disgraced billionaire Jeffrey Epstein were friends in the past is a well-known fact, but recently resurfaced photos of the two \u2018buddies\u2019 offer further insight into their relationship.<\/p>\n

During the presidential campaign, Trump promised the public he would release files related to convicted sex offender Epstein, who killed himself while awaiting trial in federal prison, if he takes office for the second time. So, when Trump indeed returned to the White House for his second presidential term, he fulfilled his promise, but only partially.<\/p>\n

Namely, Attorney General Pamela Bondi released what was described as the \u2018first phase\u2019 of declassified\u00a0Epstein\u00a0files in February 2025, but later on, the Department of Justice claimed there was \u2018no basis\u2019\u00a0to release further files, with the FBI claiming there was no \u2018client list\u2019 or any indications that Epstein used such client list to blackmail prominent individuals.<\/p>\n

Now, photos from Trump\u2019s wedding to Marla Maples in 1993 at the Plaza Hotel in New York City emerged, showing Epstein being in attendance. Another photo, taken in 1999, show Trump and Epstein standing together and chatting during a Victoria\u2019s Secret fashion event in New York.<\/p>\n

Dafydd Jones, the photographer who covered Trump\u2019s wedding to Maples, told CNN he \u2018must have recognized\u2019 Epstein at the event, having previously photographed him and Trump together at the Harley Davidson Caf\u00e9 in New York in October 1993.<\/p>\n

\u201cI wish now I took more of him with Trump,\u201d Jones said in an interview with the\u00a0CNN<\/em>. \u201cI had the job of photographing the Trump wedding, so I stood with the press and photographed him. The image you have is from the contact sheet \u2014 the negatives were lost.\u201d<\/p>\n

The photos, released by\u00a0CNN<\/em>, added fuel to the fire and provoked immediate reaction from the president.<\/p>\n

CNN\u00a0<\/em>contacted Trump for comment, but he accused them of \u2018fake news\u2019 and responded saying, \u201cYou\u2019ve got to be kidding me,\u201d before cutting the call short.<\/p>\n

White House Communications Director Steven Cheung issued a statement later in the day, writing, \u201cThese are nothing more than out-of-context frame grabs of innocuous videos and pictures of widely attended events to disgustingly infer something nefarious.<\/p>\n

\u201cThe fact is that the President kicked him out of his club for being a creep. This is nothing more than a continuation of the fake news stories concocted by the Democrats and the liberal media.\u201d<\/p>\n

Trump and Epstein had also been photographed together on several occasions from the 80\u2019s to the mid 2000\u2019s.<\/p>\n
