Parsons requested a trade from the Cowboys on Friday via his personal X account. In particular, Parsons\u2019 statement included the following: \u201cI no longer want to be here. \u2026 I no longer want to play for the Dallas Cowboys.\u201d<\/p>\n

The star pass rusher released a lengthy statement Friday, detailing his frustrations with the team\u2019s approach to negotiating his next contract.<\/p>\n

\u201cYes, I wanted to be here. I did everything I could to show that I wanted to be a Cowboy and wear the star on my helmet,\u201d Micah Parsons said.<\/p>\n

Parsons\u2019 trade request came hours after The Athletic\u2019s Dianna Russini reported his relationship with the Cowboys had \u201cdeteriorated to the point where the star pass rusher is considering drastic measures, which could include a trade request or even a declaration that he is severing his relationship with the team.\u201d<\/p>\n

It turns out that we know exactly where Micah Parsons would want to go.<\/p>\n

During an earlier podcast episode, Parsons stated that if he were to ever leave the Cowboys, he would want to return home to play for the Steelers.<\/p>\n
