Taylor Swift has been given the green light to buy a stake in the Kansas City Chiefs, her boyfriend Travis Kelce’s team.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Ever since rumours of their relationship began to emerge in 2023, Swift and\u00a0Kelce<\/a>\u00a0have undoubtedly become\u00a0one of the biggest celebrity relationships across sports and popular culture<\/a>.<\/p>\n

The popstar has been spotted supporting her boyfriend on several occasions as he\u00a0plays as tight end for the Kansas City Chiefs.<\/a><\/p>\n

Her support even led to some fans coming up with a theory that the American singer and her fashion choices were a good luck charm for Kelce\u2019s side as they aimed to win the\u00a0Super Bowl<\/a>\u00a0last season.<\/p>\n

However, it’s possible that Swift could take her love for the Kansas City Chiefs and the\u00a0NFL<\/a>\u00a0to another level, as her potentially purchasing a stake in the club has been officially approved.<\/p>\n

In recent years, several celebrities have put massive investment in sports teams, with the likes of Michael B Jordan purchasing a stake in\u00a0AFC Bournemouth<\/a>\u00a0and, of course,\u00a0Wrexham owners Ryan Reynolds and Rob Mac<\/a>\u00a0getting involved.<\/p>\n

And when the possibility of Swift investing in the Chiefs was put to NFL Commissioner Roger Goodell, he confirmed that it’s certainly a possibility.<\/p>\n

\u201cIf she\u2019s interested, I think she has the ability to do it,\u201d Goodell\u00a0said<\/a>\u00a0via Albert Breer.<\/p>\n

The NFL official also credited Swift for brining more fans to the sport thanks to her relationship with Kelce, who he also praised for his talents on the pitch.<\/p>\n

“They’re happy. They seem to be enjoying their relationship and it’s great. It has connected more fans of Taylor’s and more fans of the NFL to see that they have a connection to our game,” Goodell added.<\/p>\n

“She’s an unbelievable artist, Travis is an unbelievable player and I think it’s great for the league,”<\/p>\n

Although Swift is yet to show signs of wanting to pursue a stake in the Chiefs or any other NFL team, she certainly has more than enough money to do so if she decided it was something she wanted.<\/p>\n
