Gruesome photos show the severely bruised and battered face of the woman who was knocked out during a horrifying now-viral Cincinnati brawl.<\/p>\n

\u201cThis is Holly,\u201d wrote Ohio Senator Bernardo Moreno as he shared the harrowing images of the victim\u00a0who was filmed being beaten so badly he\u00a0\u201cthought she had been killed.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cShe wanted to have a nice evening out with friends. Instead, she got\u00a0this,\u201d Moreno wrote of the gruesome injuries from the vicious beatdown on a Cincinnati street last Saturday.<\/p>\n

The grim images show Holly\u00a0\u2014 who was not otherwise identified \u2014\u00a0with a huge black eye and busted lip, with one showing dark bruises across her entire face and neck.<\/p>\n

Five people have since been charged after footage of the attack quickly went viral.<\/p>\n

The video appeared to show a white man and woman being targeted by a group of largely black assailants.<\/p>\n

The pair were brutally punched and stomped on as they cowered on the ground.<\/p>\n

The woman was eventually knocked out cold.<\/p>\n

\u201cWhen I saw the\u00a0video [I]\u00a0thought she had been killed,\u201d Moreno told Fox News\u2019 \u201cFox & Friends\u201d on Thursday, adding that the images of her injuries were \u201cso graphic, so horrible.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cHolly gave me permission to release the photos so that others will never suffer what she did,\u201d the outraged senator added.<\/p>\n

Moreno ripped the response from local lawmakers in the wake of the\u00a0violence \u2013\u00a0including Cincinnati Councilwoman Victoria Parks,\u00a0who\u00a0claimed in a social media post that the victims were asking to be assaulted by the ruthless mob.<\/p>\n

\u201cThey asked for that beatdown,\u201d\u00a0Parks had replied\u00a0to\u00a0video\u00a0of the brawl on Facebook. \u201cI am grateful for the whole story.\u201d<\/p>\n

Moreno called for the councilwoman and other Democrats to be booted from office \u2013 as he threatened to cut federal funding for the city if they refused to act.<\/p>\n

\u201cThis is what political leaders in Cincinnati are allowing,\u201d he raged.<\/p>\n

\u201cThese idiotic political leaders that the citizens allow to have office need to go.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cI\u2019m going to call on all federal agencies to review the funding that we provide Cincinnati\u00a0and\u00a0I\u2019m giving the leaders of Cincinnati one month to come up with a plan for them to protect civil rights for their citizens. If they don\u2019t do it\u2026 I\u2019m going to ask the agencies to suspend all federal funding because we\u2019re not going to put up with this.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cThe police chief blames social media. The city council person blamed the victim,\u201d the Republican continued. \u201cThis is a total travesty. I\u2019m not going to put up with it. Ohio deserves better\u00a0and\u00a0Cincinnati certainly does too.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/div>\n
