Sharon Osbourne has opened up on the biggest regret she had with her late husband Ozzy – and it\u2019s something nobody would expect.<\/p>\n

It comes after the rocker\u2019s wife, 72, and the rest of their family, emotionally joined fans in paying farewell to the Black Sabbath<\/a> star during a procession in Birmingham<\/a> yesterday (30 July).<\/p>\n

Ozzy, who tied the knot with Sharon<\/a> back in 1982, tragically passed away<\/a> at the age of 76 last week, leaving behind his wife and children<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Sharon was joined at the funeral and procession by her and Ozzy\u2019s<\/a> son Jack, as well as their daughters Aimee and Kelly<\/a>.<\/p>\n

She became visibly emotional as she stepped out of a car to view the hundreds of floral tributes and balloons laid around the Black Sabbath bench in the city where her husband was from. The family members wiped away tears at the bench as they inspected tributes, with members of the crowd shouting ‘we love you Ozzy.’<\/p>\n

Sharon and her children each carried a pink rose, wrapped in black paper tied with a purple ribbon, that they laid on top of the many other floral tributes that sat next to a poster of the star, which said: \u201cBirmingham will always love you.\u201d<\/p>\n

And some eagle-eyed fans noticed another emotional<\/a> way she paid tribute to the late star – by wearing his wedding ring<\/a> on a chain around her neck.<\/p>\n

People wrote on social media: \u201cSeeing Sharon wear Ozzy\u2019s ring on a necklace\u2026 completely wrecked me.”<\/p>\n

Another said: \u201cBroke my heart seeing Sharon and the kids visit Ozzy\u2019s memorial at the procession. Noticed Sharon had Ozzy\u2019s wedding ring on her necklace.\u201d<\/p>\n

Now, as the world reminisces on their incredible four-decade long marriage, resurfaced interviews and clips are popping up online.<\/p>\n

Earlier this year, she appeared<\/a> on a podcast – The Magnificent Others with Billy Corgan – <\/em>where she shared a detail about their relationship that never saw the light of day.<\/p>\n

And surprisingly, it looks like Ozzy could have had a big break in the world of acting.<\/p>\n

Sharon, who it\u2019s important to remember was Ozzy\u2019s manager from 1979, asked: \u201cDo you want to know the biggest mistake I ever made with Ozzy?\u201d<\/p>\n

She then went on to reveal: \u201cHe got offered to go and read for Pirates of the Caribbean<\/em> – and I\u2019ve never said this to anyone.\u201d<\/p>\n

Host Billy Cogan could barely contain his surprise as he asked: \u201cAnd you said no?\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cI said no,\u201d admitted the TV star, \u201cNow, wouldn\u2019t he have been perfect?\u201d<\/p>\n

In another interview with<\/a> Music Business Worldwide, Sharon lifted the lid on the talent she saw in Ozzy, even before they got together.<\/p>\n

“I just saw something in Ozzy,” Sharon told the publication.<\/p>\n

She added: “I saw that spark that he had. It was electric. Ozzy would walk into a room, and everybody would look at him.<\/p>\n

\u201cIn two minutes, he had everybody laughing on the floor. He was a very charismatic young man. I just believed in it.”<\/p>\n<\/div>\n
