The Kansas City Chiefs are at training camp looking to bounce back from a disappointing Super Bowl loss to the Philadelphia Eagles. On Tuesday, the passion was palpable as a scuffle broke out amongst rookies. That\u2019s pretty typical at training camps across the league. What was unusual was the player who stepped in to break it up.<\/p>\n

Kelce flips the script at Chiefs camp<\/p>\n

Veteran tight end Travis Kelce has long been known for his fire on the field, but during a recent training camp dust-up, he played a very different role: peacemaker.<\/p>\n

When punches flew between rookies Josh Simmons and Ashton Gillotte, Kelce was among the first to break up the fight \u2013 a moment fans celebrated across social media as a sign of his growth and leadership.<\/p>\n

While summer training camp scuffles are common and often born from intense competition, Kelce\u2019s response showed a shift in identity as he prepares for his 13th NFL season.<\/p>\n

With just one year remaining on his contract, Kelce\u2019s future in Kansas City remains unknown, though he\u2019s made it clear he hopes to retire a Chief.<\/p>\n
