Surprisingly, the Raiders released him last week after a disagreement about his foot injury. It seems there was another incident that helped the team come to that decision.<\/p>\n

Las Vegas voided the $35.2 million of guaranteed money left on Wilkins\u2019 contract last month. He originally signed a 4-year, $110 million deal with the Raiders last offseason.<\/p>\n

The Raiders reportedly voided the rest of Wilkins\u2019 guaranteed money due to how he rehabbed the season-ending injury to his left foot, per Adam Schefter<\/a>.<\/p>\n

On Monday, more disturbing news came out about why they had come to that decision.<\/p>\n

Christian Wilkins allegedly \u201cplayfully\u201d attempted to kiss a teammate on his forehead. He may have thought it was funny, but the unknown teammate did not.<\/p>\n

His behavior ultimately led to him losing a lot of money.<\/p>\n

Wilkins has recorded 371 tackles, 56 quarterback hits, 45 tackles for loss, 22.5 sacks, and 19 passes defensed across 86 career games with the Raiders and Miami Dolphins.<\/p>\n

New England Patriots<\/a> head coach Mike Vrabel<\/a> revealed that the team will discuss a potential contract agreement with defensive tackle Christian Wilkins.<\/p>\n

Vrabel told reporters Friday that New England will \u201chave a conversation\u201d about signing him following his release from the Raiders last week.<\/p>\n

The Patriots are looking to improve on both sides of the ball following a pair of 4-13 finishes in 2023 and 2024.<\/p>\n
