President Donald Trump regularly indulges in McDonald\u2019s<\/a> and has scoffed about exercising<\/a>, but according to Sen. Tommy Tuberville (R-Ala.), there could only be one true explanation for the president\u2019s recent health concerns \u2014 and it apparently has to do with the Left. <\/span><\/p>\n<\/div>\n

While speaking with New York radio station WABC 7770 AM on Sunday, Tuberville alleged that Trump\u2019s health condition could stem from him \u201cfighting the radicals.\u201d <\/span><\/p>\n<\/div>\n

\n

\u201cThe pressure on somebody like President Trump right now, not just from outside entities \u2026 all over the world but also fighting the radicals in this country,\u201d Tuberville told host John Catsimatidis during his show \u201c<\/span>The Cats Roundtable<\/span><\/a>.\u201d <\/span><\/p>\n<\/div>\n

He continued, \u201cEvery day it\u2019s almost like a fistfight. And he\u2019s making progress. We just need to win more and more people on our side that understand what\u2019s going on because our country has got one foot in the grave when it comes to our constitution and capitalism.\u201d <\/span><\/p>\n<\/div>\n

Tuberville\u2019s comments came after the White House announced last week that Trump, 79, is suffering from <\/span>chronic venous insufficiency<\/span><\/a>, a condition where veins in the legs have trouble returning blood to the heart. It can lead to leg swelling and pain among other symptoms.<\/span><\/p>\n<\/div>\n

White House press secretary Karoline Leavitt described Trump\u2019s health condition as \u201c<\/span>benign and common<\/span><\/a>.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

Elsewhere in the episode, Tuberville doubled down on backing the <\/span>unsupported claims<\/span><\/a> that the 2020 presidential election was stolen from Trump. He also alleged that slews of migrants without legal status voted for Democrats. <\/span><\/p>\n<\/div>\n
