Astronomer turned a PR headache into a PR masterstroke following the cheating saga that rocked them earlier this month.<\/p>\n

The company has undergone massive changes in recent times, with both their CEO, Andy Byron, and their head of HR, Kristin Cabot, stepping down. The pair were exposed during Coldplay\u2019s Boston concert after failing to detach from each other before the kiss cam panned to them.<\/p>\n

Band frontman Chris Martin was at the center of it all, having addressed the cheating pair before they ducked out of sight.<\/p>\n

In a move no one could have predicted, Astronomer has brought in Martin\u2019s ex-wife, Gwyneth Paltrow, as a \u201ctemporary spokesperson,\u201d<\/em> who already has an ad out<\/a>.<\/p>\n

The clip below shows Paltrow explaining that she was \u201chired on a very temporary basis to speak on behalf of the 300-plus employees at Astronomer.\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n

\u201cAstronomer has gotten a lot of questions over the last few days, and they wanted me to answer the most common ones,\u201d she continued.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

According to the company, the most common question was, \u201cOMG! What the actual f\u2014\u201d but Paltrow responded to something totally different.<\/p>\n

\u201cYes, Astronomer is the best place to run Apace Airflow,\u201d <\/em>she said. \u201cWe\u2019ve been thrilled so many people have a newfound interest in data automation.\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n

The next question was: \u201cHow is your social media team holding up?\u201d\u00a0<\/em><\/p>\n

Paltrow sidestepped in similar fashion, claiming that there is still room at the Beyond Analytics DataOps Conference in September.<\/p>\n
