The CEO affair scandal that unravelled at a Coldplay concert has seen a rather surprising celebrity weigh in with a ‘savage’ statement.<\/strong><\/p>\n

In case you’ve been living under a rock, a ‘kiss cam’ at the gig shone its giant spotlight on a scandal that went on to grip the internet<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Married<\/a> man Andy Byron, the now former CEO of Astronomer, was seen in a cosy embrace with his HR rep, Kristin Cabot, on the jumbotron, prompting the pair to quickly separate as they attempted to duck out of view.<\/p>\n

However, it was too late as Coldplay<\/a> front man Chris Martin spotted the moment and said to the crowd: “Either they’re having an affair, or they’re just very shy.”<\/p>\n

Since the viral<\/a> incident, Byron was placed on leave from the company and subsequently decided to resign<\/a> from his position, while Cabot too has reportedly left.<\/p>\n

Now, almost two weeks since the tech<\/a> company boss departed, a surprising celebrity<\/a> has been hired by Astronomer on a ‘very temporary basis’ to speak on behalf of the company.<\/p>\n

The footage, simply captioned by the company on its social media<\/a> channels: “Thank you for your interest in Astronomer,” saw none other than Martin’s own ex-wife, Gwyneth Paltrow<\/a>, comment on the situation.<\/p>\n

Paltrow, who was married to the 48-year-old singer from 2003 to 2016, appears sat at a desk in business attire to drop a quick announcement.<\/p>\n

\u201cI\u2019ve been hired on a very temporary basis to speak on behalf of the 300-plus employees at Astronomer,\u201d she began, adding that the organization has had ‘a lot of questions over the last few days’.<\/p>\n

The Golden Globe winner said she was hired to answer some common burning questions, starting with: “OMG! What the actual f***?”<\/p>\n

“Yes,” Paltrow said in a soothing tone. “Astronomer is the best place to run pache Airflow, unifying the experience of running data, ML and AI<\/a> pipelines at scale. We’ve been thrilled so many people have a new found interest in data workflow automation.”<\/p>\n

Paltrow was hired to put some burning questions to bed (Twitter\/@astronomerio)<\/cite><\/div>\n

The second question poised: “How is your social media team holding…” to which Paltrow hilariously cut off before the rest of the question loaded, saying: “Yes! There is still room available at our Beyond Analytics event in September.<\/p>\n

\u201cWe will now be returning to what we do best, which is delivering game-changing results for our customers. Thank you for your interest in Astronomer,” she concluded.<\/p>\n

Dozens have since reacted to the tongue-in-cheek clip, as one wrote on Twitter<\/a>: “You got Chris Martin\u2019s ex wife???!!! Savage.”<\/p>\n

“You hired the Coldplay singer\u2019s ex-wife. Extraordinary,” another added.<\/p>\n

A third also applauded the company for the genius marketing ploy, writing: “Guys this is a PR masterclass. You take the most viral moment of July 2025 and, instead of disaster control, make light of the situation and create the ultimate brand awareness.”<\/p>\n

“Bravo.”<\/p>\n

“One of the best crisis responses I’ve ever seen in my life,” a fourth chimed.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n
