Donald Trump brushed off a request for comment with a blunt six-word response after newly uncovered photos and video footage offered further insight to his relationship with Jeffrey Epstein.<\/strong><\/p>\n

During his most recent run for president,\u00a0Trump<\/a>\u00a0indicated he would have ‘no problem’ with releasing files related to convicted sex offender\u00a0Jeffrey Epstein<\/a>\u00a0if he made it into office.<\/p>\n

The president somewhat followed through on his promise when Attorney General Pamela Bondi released what was described as the ‘first phase’ of declassified Epstein files in February 2025, but fast-forward to July and Trump’s Department of Justice (DOJ) declared it had found ‘no basis’ to release further files.<\/p>\n

n its statement released earlier this month, the DOJ\u00a0added<\/a>\u00a0that it had also found ‘no incriminating “client list”‘.<\/p>\n

The decision not to release further files prompted speculation from some members of the public that\u00a0Trump was ‘hiding’ details<\/a>\u00a0about Epstein, with the president only adding fuel to the fire when he was\u00a0questioned by one reporter<\/a>\u00a0and responded: “Are people still talking about this guy? This creep? That is unbelievable.”<\/p>\n

Trump has since shared plans to release grand jury materials related to Epstein, but he sought to shut down the conversation about him and the disgraced financier again after being questioned about images taken in 1993.<\/p>\n

The media\u00a0uncovered<\/a>\u00a0by CNN\u2019s KFile confirms for the first time that Epstein was in attendance at Trump’s second wedding, when he married Marla Maples in 1993.<\/p>\n

Footage appears to show Trump and Epstein laughing and chatting together at a 1999 Victoria\u2019s Secret fashion event in\u00a0New York<\/a>.<\/p>\n

The photographer from Trump’s 1993 wedding, Dafydd Jones, told CNN he ‘must have recognized’ Epstein at Trump’s wedding after previously meeting the financial advisor when he photographed him and Trump at the Harley Davidson Cafe in New York in October 1993.<\/p>\n

\u201cI wish now I took more of him with Trump,\u201d he said in new interview. \u201cI had the job of photographing the Trump wedding, so I stood with the press and photographed him. The image you have is from the contact sheet – the negatives were lost.\u201d<\/p>\n

When contacted for comment about the wedding photos, Trump accused CNN of ‘fake news’ and hit back with a six-word response, saying: \u201cYou\u2019ve got to be kidding me.\u201d<\/p>\n

In a slightly longer statement, White House Communications Director Steven Cheung commented: \u201cThese are nothing more than out-of-context frame grabs of innocuous videos and pictures of widely attended events to disgustingly infer something nefarious.<\/p>\n

\u201cThe fact is that the President kicked him out of his club for being a creep. This is nothing more than a continuation of the fake news stories concocted by the Democrats and the liberal media.\u201d<\/p>\n

Trump and Epstein have been connected since the 1980s and are known to have attended many of the same social events. In the mid-2000s, the pair are said to have had a falling-out over a high-profile real estate deal in Palm Beach.<\/p>\n
