They\u2019ve been finding ways to upstage each other all season, but only one of them will win the award at the end of the term.<\/p>\n<p>As of Thursday morning, The Worldwide Leader in Sports had the\u00a0<a class=\"mai-link-injected\" href=\"https:\/\/www.totalprosports.com\/wnba\/chicago-sky\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Chicago Sky<\/a>\u00a0forward down to win the award, having released their\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.espn.com\/wnba\/insider\/story\/_\/id\/40529489\/ranking-wnba-2024-rookies-angel-reese-caitlin-clark-more-midseason\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">latest 2024 WNBA Rookie of the Year Award rankings<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>Reese moved ahead of Clark to claim the No. 1 spot this week. No one ACTUALLY think Angel Reese is better than CC,\u201d\u00a0<\/em>a third said.<\/p>\n<p><em>\u201cThis is wildly upsetting. Caitlin\u2019s in a league of her own and Reese doesn\u2019t belong in ROTY talks,\u201d\u00a0<\/em>a fourth remarked.<\/p>\n<p><em>\u201cThey really trying hard huh,\u201d<\/em>\u00a0a user claimed.<\/p>\n<h2 id=\"h-espn-explains-why-they-have-angel-reese-at-no-1\" class=\"wp-block-heading\">ESPN Explains Why They Have Angel Reese At No. 1<\/h2>\n<p>ESPN\u2019s explanation for Angel Reese\u2019s jump up the rankings is as follows:<\/p>\n<p>\u201cFor the most part, Reese has been a stat-stuffing dynamo in her debut campaign.
