As the football season approaches, so too does the release date for The Kingdom, a Kansas City Chiefs<\/a> six-episode docuseries from ESPN, Disney+, and Skydance Sports.<\/p>\n

This week, it was announced that the ESPN Original Series will premiere on August 14 on ESPN, ESPN+, and Disney+.<\/p>\n

\u201cThe Kingdom\u201d dives deep into the Chiefs\u2019 legacy \u2013 from over 60 years of highs and lows to their incredible 2024 season. It will give fans never-before-seen access as well as a front-row seat to the making of a modern NFL<\/a> dynasty.<\/p>\n

Directed by Kristen Lappas (Giannis: The Marvelous Journey), the series is produced by the team behind \u201cThe Last Dance.\u201d<\/p>\n

In the mold of The Last Dance and The Dynasty, The Kingdom promises to unpack the Kansas City Chiefs\u2019 long-standing impact on the NFL. Despite an impressive season, their storybook run ended in heartbreak, losing to the Philadelphia Eagles<\/a> in the finale.<\/p>\n

Episodes 1 and 2 will also air on ESPN at 9 PM ET August 14August 14 while all six episodes will be available on ESPN+ and Disney+ the same day.<\/p>\n
