The series ended in 2021 amid Josh&#8217;s arrest for receiving and possessing\u00a0child pornography. In 2022, he was <a href=\"https:\/\/people.com\/josh-duggar-child-pornography-appeal-rejected-8350296\" data-component=\"link\" data-source=\"inlineLink\" data-type=\"internalLink\" data-ordinal=\"1\">sentenced to more than 12 years<\/a> in prison.<\/p>\n<p id=\"mntl-sc-block_11-0\" class=\"comp mntl-sc-block mntl-sc-block-html\">Jim Bob was also embroiled in his son&#8217;s scandals in 2015 as police reports at the time indicated the father of 19 knew about Josh&#8217;s alleged molestation for months before seeking help.<\/p>\n<p id=\"mntl-sc-block_13-0\" class=\"comp mntl-sc-block mntl-sc-block-html\">In a statement at the time, Jim Bob and Michelle said, \u201cBack 12 years ago our family went through one of the most difficult times of our lives. When Josh was a young teenager, he made some very bad mistakes, and we were shocked. The Duggars have been known for their house flipping endeavors, purchasing, renovating and selling properties for profit.
